We spent the month of July in this beautiful, historic Montauk home with two couples. Montauk is a very special place, and our trip was absolutely perfect because we were lucky enough to call this house home for the month. The owners are lovely and were so great to work with, they left the house with every possible thing you would for an amazing beach getaway. You feel like a true Montauk local staying in this house, its historic and beautifully decorated as the perfect summer beach home. The kitchen is newly renovated so we spent nights in cooking dinner and grilling and the yard is perfect for entertaining with comfortable outdoor furniture. They had a number of bikes that we rode to the beach or to town. All the rooms have built in fans which are perfect to stay cool on a summer night. The neighbors were all really nice and the back yard is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Its a two minute walk from Sole East hotel which has tons of beach beds, a gorgeous pool and fantastic food. The hotel pool is open to non - guests every day but Saturday so it is like your own personal beach club! We had such a wonderful special month while we called this home!
Just spent Memorial day weekend at this beautiful house with 3 girlfriend and we had a fantastic time. The owners were so nice and very easy to work with. The house was perfect, it had everything we needed. It was so comfortable and the location was the best; we could walk or ride to town or the beach. Bikes were also provided and we enjoyed a nice afternoon ride. The property is spacious and quiet and great for BBQ and relaxing. We had such a wonderful weekend. Didn't want to leave!
When you go to Montauk, you want a great location and a great space to chill outside with friends. This place has it all! You can walk into town and the beaches or use the bikes the owner leaves for guests (we did both) or head the other direction toward Ruschmeyers and Navy Beach or if you're in the mood to hang with the hipsters, just meander over to Sole East for one of their great parties (we did that too). You can also stay home and cook on the grill they provide and sit one the dozens of pieces of patio furniture they have. I've been cooped up in a motel before and their big yard is way better. If it's available, I will definitely be a repeat customer. Enjoy!
A beautiful home with all the necessities in a beautiful location. The inside of the home is really nice for a quaint summer home, but the real gem is the property and outdoor entertaining area. Shade trees and a nice private feel make it ideal. Located in a quiet area, it's a short drive to anywhere. I would go back here in a heartbeat.
As a couple we needed to relax and recharge our batteries. This property is a peaceful oasis filled with beautiful flowers, we used the herb garden, listened to the birds are chirping while the trees were swaying. We loved hearing the ocean at night. It was a great vacation - easy to get to by train, jitney or car. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Everything was provided for a wonderful two week vacation. Loved the vintage boogie board! Enjoyed riding bikes to Fort Pond Bay, county park and into the Village especially IGA beach.
Want to book it again for next year.
