This recently renovated two bedroom, two bath condominium sleeps up to five guests. Amenities include 2 TVs, DVD, Wi-Fi, coin op Washer/Dryer (in building), a Gas Fireplace and an "open concept" kitchen and family room. A large skylight and picture windows allow you to view the Breckenridge Ski Area. The exterior of the Miner's Candle building was completely remodeled recently.

Renters have access to 4 hot tubs (two indoor and two outdoor), and an outdoor heated pool. Two parking spots are provided (although you will never need to use your car during your stay). A bus stop is across the street (less than 50 feet away) if you decide to take public transportation to Keystone, A-Basin, Cooper Mountain, Frisco, or the Breckenridge area. Buses are free.

Sleeping arrangements include a King bed in the loft bedroom, 2 twin beds in the second bedroom, and a double pull-out sleeper sofa in the family room. A family group of up to 5 could be accommodated within the condo but a group of more than 4 unrelated adults should find alternate accommodations. All towels and linens are provided as well as soap, dishwasher detergent and paper products. The kitchen contains all cooking supplies you should need. Coin operated washers and dryers are located in the building.

Please note that the Miner's Candle complex is a no pet, no smoking condominium complex. Marijuana is not allowed within our condo.


Miner's Candle is located adjacent to the Hyatt Main Street Station and Marriott's Mountain Valley Lodge at the base of Peak 9 and is a short walk to the Quicksilver lift (Peak 9) and Main Street.

GREAT VALUE: We feel that our rates are reasonable considering our location and the amenities provided.

When we started looking for our condo we wanted to be within driving distance of the Denver area, at an established ski area, and in a town (not just a resort), Breckenridge met all of our desires.

What makes this condo unique

Both the interior and exterior of our Miner’s Candle condo have been recently remodeled. Guests are within a short walk of both the Breckenridge ski area and the town’s Main Street shops and restaurants. A pool and hot tubs are also a short walk. A bus stop for the free bus system is located across the street from the Miner’s Candle complex.

The owners provided a timely response to our questions, The free local bus service was convenient and easy to use. Their secondary web site provided significant useful information for our first visit to Breckenridge.

Loved this condo! Perfect for our ski trip!

We enjoyed this condo and would definitely stay there again! It had everything we needed, was very clean and well maintained. Cozy feel, yet plenty of space for three adults to spread out. Even if we had the five adults as originally planned, we probably would have had enough room. The walk to the lift was a moderate one and a bit further than anticipated, but it was very doable. At the end of the day it was great to come back to that fireplace and dry out and warm up! Dave was great about answering all our questions and needs. We appreciated his perfectly timed communication for arrival and departure info. This property is a thumbs up!

Great Spring Break Experience

We stayed in the condo over spring break and it was me and my husband and our son and daughter-in-law. It was so cozy and by that I do NOT mean cramped, I mean homey. The king bed in the loft was great for us and the "kids" switched between the room with 2 singles and the pull out couch, it was fine, perhaps better suited if not 2 couples but we had a blast anyway.

I have stayed in a LOT of place in Breck, really. The one thing that stood out to me beyond everything else was Dave's responsiveness. I didn't have to wait days for an answer, he was right on top of the availability. They are very fairly priced and the walk to town and Quicksilver lift was perfect. Oh and I loved waking up looking through the skylight at the ski runs!

I look forward to staying there again.

I keep coming back!

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a fourth year in a row. As usual, the condo was clean and very comfortable! We keep coming back because the walk to chair lift is close, the nightlife is just a short walk and there is room for parking, which is usually at a premium in Breckenridge. The Owners are great to work with and respond right away!

Looking forward to a fifth year if it’s available!

Full payment is due at the time condo is booked if booking is within 30 days of arrival. Bookings prior to 30 days of arrival must pay $200 (plus taxes) at the time the condo is booked. VRBO also adds their fee. The balance will then be due 30 days prior to arrival.

WINTER LODGING CANCELLATION POLICY: 30 days or more prior to arrival: Net refund less $200.00: 29 days or less prior to arrival, all funds are forfeited unless the condo is rebooked. If rebooked, you will receive a refund for the net amount rebooked less $200.00. (“Net” refund and amount indicates the amount that the owner received from VRBO/Homeaway.) The refund will not exceed the net amount paid by the renter.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
