This beautiful condo is professionally decorated and features 9 foot ceilings, plus sliding glass doors that offer breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and its pristine white sandy beaches. Watch dolphins frolic and play in the crystal clear emerald waters and experience awesome sunsets from the condo's spacious balcony.

This 2 bedroom/2 bath condo sleeps 6 with king size bed in the master bedroom, queen size bed in the 2nd bedroom and a sofa/sleeper in the living room. The kitchen features an eat at bar, open to the living room and the beautiful views of the Gulf. Also, the kitchen is fully equipped to prepare any meals. Tile flooring is throughout the main living areas with carpet in the bedrooms and a luxurious red occasional rug in the living room. There are TVs with DVD players in both bedrooms for your enjoyment.

Windemere features a beautiful L-shaped swimming pool and a heated Jacuzzi with comfortable padded chaise lounge chairs for your relaxation in the sun. There is also a covered shaded part of the pool area for those wanting to stay out of the sun. The pool area is raised on the 3rd floor, so you can sit by the pool in the cooler months with the benefit of the North wind being blocked, thus making it feel 20 degrees warmer. There are two charcoal grills with picnic tables on the beach level.

Check-in and check-out was super smoothe and easy. The property exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our group of 6 adults. Overall stay was amazing and memorable. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks, Dianna!

Not in good condition

The good things about this unit are the square footage and location. Right on the beach with a balcony and view of the water. The washer, dishwasher, and fridge were in good condition and very handy to have. The kitchen utensils were well-stocked and we found everything we needed. The mattresses in both bedrooms were comfortable enough. The bathrooms were spacious. The parking is covered and this unit had a large parking space for our suburban.

The bad - upon arrival, the unit had not been cleaned. I immediately called the property manager and she said she would call someone out. Two hours later, no one had come. I called again and she said she couldn't get in touch with the cleaning crew but she would refund our cleaning fee if we would just clean it ourselves. So we started our vacation by buying laundry and cleaning supplies and washing all sheets, towels, blankets, and dishes, taking the trash out, cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen, and vacuuming the entire unit. Not that big of a deal, but definitely not my dream way to begin a vacation.

That being done, the unit is in need of some upkeep. The mattresses and box springs, curtains, couch cushions, and sheets all had stains of some form or fashion on them. The dryer is very old and squeals when it is on. The fold out bed in the couch is in very poor condition. The key was extremely hard to use to get in and out of the condo.

Had we not had to clean ourselves, we probably wouldn't have noticed all the stains and disrepair as much. As it is though, I would not stay in this unit again. The building is great, so maybe someone else's rental would be better kept and a better choice.

Owner's Response: In response to this negative review: The cleaning lady was sick and didn't show up to clean for this condo, but did not inform me of this. She has been replaced with a new professional cleaning service along with new sheets/blankets and the condo had a Deep Cleaning. Also, I had a locksmith repair the door lock. (Which she did not mention) When I was informed by this renter that the condo had not been cleaned and I couldn't get in touch with the cleaning lady, I offered her a $100 refund if they didn't mind cleaning it themselves. She accepted the refund but neglected to mention this in her negative review.

We Hope to Book Again

This condo was exactly what we hoped for and a little more. We didn't realize it was the penthouse. Everything was clean, the beds were fine. The view that high is amazing. This is a deal on a good place to vacation.

This unit was VERY clean and there was plenty of room so as to not feel cramped. The property manager, Dianna, was very nice to work with and always responded promptly. It is a very quiet condo complex - especially in October. The shower liner in the 2nd bathroom needs to be replaced as it is mildewed. The couch is comfortable enough, but you do sink down as it is well worn. We did not use the sleeper sofa so I'm not aware of its condition. We were totally without internet in the unit and had no cable in the 2nd bedroom until the day before we left. The cable technician came out and replaced something and once the fiber optic cable was repaired, voila - we had service - both internet and cable in 2nd bedroom. DO NOT LOCK the handset door lock - it is almost impossible to unlock and we almost broke a key- use the deadbolt lock only. The handset needs to be oiled or replaced. This unit does have some issues regarding the TVs and the bedding. The TVs in the master bedroom and living area need to be updated as they are very small and very old. The TV in the 2nd bedroom is a nice size flat screen but we were not able to use it until the last night we were there. Also, the TV in 2nd bedroom MUST be on channel 3 to get cable - a note on the TV or check-in instructions would be helpful. The mattresses REALLY DO NEED TO BE REPLACED in both bedrooms - they are deplorable. If we had not had a heating pad with us we would not have survived. The couple in the 2nd bedroom had to either hang on to the edge of the mattress or roll to the middle. The mattress in the master squeaked when you sat on it or moved and I couldn't hardly walk the next morning without sitting on the heating pad for a while. I didn't sleep on the heating pad because it was needed for survival through the night on the 2nd mattress. The balcony furniture was nice and it was great having a lounge chair. The kitchen was adequately stocked but one skillet does need replacing and there needs to be more than just one dish towel on hand. There were plenty of towels, but they needed to be bleached or replaced as several were stained and a couple had holes, or tears. The parking under the building is very tight but the upper deck parking is a little more open. I received by deposit back within the time frame indicated with no problem. The weather was great during our stay so that helped tremendously.

Loved this condo!! Everything was great except that we only had 1 set of keys to split with 2 couples .. And also the wifi did not work. We tried to contact the manager and never heard anything back from her for both the keys and wifi.

Great Location!

My daughter and I were very pleased with all aspects of our experience in this condo. The reservation/check-in process went smoothly, the location of the property was wonderful (beautiful beach & not too crowded) and the unit was clean and comfortable. We utilized the beach service for an umbrella/chairs and were pleased with the friendly and helpful staff. Although we didn't use the pool, it appeared to be well maintained, as was the rest of the property. We discussed returning to this property in the future as we have several members of our family who have mobility issues. The elevators, luggage carts, ease of access to the pool area and grills make this property a winner for our family!
