I encourage you to contact me by email or phone to get the most up to date rental quotes. During the months of June, July and August booking from Saturday to Saturday is preferred. What a wonderful time of year to be at the beach. Sea Cabin #219, a second floor unit in the center or 'B' building. Isle of Palms is a beautiful, sandy beach barrier island 20 minute drive from historic Charleston, South Carolina. You have an expansive ocean view from your private balcony. Watch the shrimp fleet at night , the kites and windsurfers by day. Take a dip in the pool, fish from the complex's private fishing pier or walk over the dune walkway to the beach. Fishing off the pier is very good. Whiting, flounder, drum are caught regularly. South Carolina salt water licence required.

Take an early morning run? Stroll the beach? Or just lie in the sun. The surf can be up enough to use your board but the beach slope is gentle enough that even the littlest ones can join in the beach fun. My condo is as close to the beach as you can get. Go out the door, across the parking lot , use the short board walk over the sand dunes and you are at the beach. The Sea Cabin complex is on the ocean side of Ocean Blvd. so there is no street to cross.

The unit sleeps 4 and using the ONE bunk bed in the hallway and the queen pull out sleep sofa family of 5 can be together. A new queen mattress set in the bedroom and a new dishwasher were put in in August of 2014 as I keep the unit up-to-date and fresh. 4 adults is the maximum number for this unit. The living room has a 32' flat screen TV. The master bedroom has a 19' flat screen TV. Walk down Ocean Blvd to the local restaurants and boutiques. Bank of America ATM close by as is the Harris Teeter grocery /deli and an ABC store. Parking is free within the complex.

Be sure to drive into Charleston, a premier American city. Take a carriage ride, see the museums, the Aquarium or take a boat ride out to Fort Sumter for some Civil War history. There are so many historic houses to see. Stroll the streets, watch for the famous ironwork gates and read the house plaques. No city has better restaurants of every type and price range.

Mount Pleasant is a smaller community directly across from our barrier island which also offers a wide range of shopping and dining. See what each community has to offer. And be sure to check out Fort Moultrie on Sullivan's Island.

I'm Canadian by birth so I really appreciate the wonderful southern weather. I live in Charlottesville, Virgina, home of Thomas Jefferson and University of Virginia. Love the old houses which abound in Charleston. I never tire of walking the streets of Charleston's historic districts admiring the ironwork which is justifiably famous.

Why Bonnie Greenwood chose Isle of Palms

We discovered Isle of Palms because of a USAF posting to Charleston Air Base and after several stays , bought this condo in 2004 and have been using vrbo for several years now. I enjoy talking to the many people who call for information and have met and made friends with several often returning guests.

What makes this condo unique

Love walking down the street to local restaurants for the best fresh local seafood dishes. Even in winter the balcony can be warm in the rising sun .. Add a cup of coffee and a great ocean view. What more could a person want ? My family and I use our condo at least 4 times a year so it is loving maintained.

Harris Teeter grocery/deli is within walking distance. Luke 'n Ollie's Pizza, Banana Cabana, Acme Low Country , Sea Biscuit Cafe ,The Windjammer all local favorites and all are an easy 5 minute walk from the condo.

Delightful Mini-Vacation

The Sea Cabin #219 exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect size for a weekend stay for me, my husband, son and nephew. The condo was very clean and had an awesome ocean view. Ample linens were provided. The location was an added bonus as we were able to walk out on the beach and on the private pier for a stroll. There were multiple restaurants within walking distance, but since we were traveling to visit Patriot's Point, we dined at other locations. We experienced a community-like atmosphere and the grounds were immaculate. We hope to rent from Bonnie again to enjoy this condo and take advantage of some of the amenities. Even the teenage boys mentioned they would like to return to stay again!

November get away

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Sea Cabin 219 for a November get away. The condo was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect - close to the city of Charleston & being so near the beach was an added bonus! Bonnie was wonderful to work with & the reservation process went smoothly. We look forward to staying at Sea Cabin 219 again!

Great Long weekend

Location, location, location

Perfect spot for a getaway. Bonnie's unit was well equipped with everything you need for a relaxed vacation. Comfy bed & pull out sofa. The location of the complex is perfect!

Loved this place!

We had such a great stay in Bonnie's condo #219! We have two little girls and the 4 of us had a blast. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed to be able to make meals there. The pool and the beach are just steps away and restaurants and shopping are a 2 minute walk. The pizza at Ollie's was amazing. The pool was clean and the outdoor restrooms were great too. The condo was VERY clean and the beds were comfortable, even the bunk bed was very comfy. We will definitely be back the very next chance we get. Bonnie was very nice and great to work with. She got back with us very quickly. This was more than I expected and I am so glad we chose this condo for our vacation.

Delightful accommodations

Both this unit and Bonnie are delightful and accommodating. All the favorable reviews other guests have submitted are spot on. It's hard to top those. We lacked for nothing and any time we communicated with Bonnie we received super speedy replies. Everything in the unit was very clean and orderly. We loved having breakfast on the balcony, watching the ships on the horizon each night, walking on the beach, and having such easy access to a grocery store and to Charleston. We took full advantage of the attractions in the area, including the nearby Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens and Fort Moultrie on Sullivan's Island. Along with visiting Charleston, it was also an easy day trip down to Charleston Tea Plantation on Wadmalaw Isl., where we also picked fresh strawberries at Selkirk Farm. When we return to Charleston, we would love to stay here again.

One half of total cost at time of booking and remainder 30 days prior to check in date. Visa and Master Card accepted by owner.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
