About Shari DeNardo

U. S. Recreational Properties is a developer of high quality rustic-styled vacation homes in locations offering great access to a variety of recreational pursuits and is the first to offer fractional ownership opportunities in the Laurel Highlands.

The USREC partnership is comprised of a handful of families who enjoy the outdoors and nature, and who have traveled to Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and Alaska among other exciting destinations. Their appreciation of nature, enthusiasm for the outdoor lifestyle and adventurous recreation inspired them to form USREC, thus to create an opportunity for others to enjoy the same.

Shari DeNardo purchased this house in 2009

Why Shari DeNardo chose Laurel Highlands

The Laurel Highlands caters to the outdoor enthusiast offering a vast array of activities for every type of traveler: those who love the thrill of white water rafting and downhill skiing; those who enjoy fishing and hunting; those who are more conservative in their travels and are interested history, covered bridges and wineries; and, of course, those who gravitate towards resort vacationing, spas and golf courses. It has something for everyone!

What makes this house unique

This property is unique because of its close proximity to resorts and recreation, yet it is nestled among a forest of trees, on a mountaintop that is peaceful, serene and tranquil. It encourages quality time and relaxation. The only noise you hear is the rustling of the trees and the occasional whinny from the horses on the neighboring ranch.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for such a great place to stay. We all very much enjoyed our visit this weekend. Everyone loved the house and can't wait to do this again next year. Everything was great. Thank you!

Fun Family Weekend at Sundance

  • 5 of 5

Just sent Sharon a quick not to tell her how much we enjoyed our stay at Sundance. Our party was thrilled with the accommodations and the beauty of the area. Our more adventurous guests enjoyed a day at Seven Springs either tubing or skiing - resort was an easy 15-20 minute drive away. We will certainly look forward to a future visit.

-Kitchen well stocked.

-Floor-Plan was perfect for our 18 guests.

-Home was clean and comfy.

Great place for family reunion

  • 5 of 5

Great place, loved the covered deck and outdoor area. We had a fire in the campfire ring every night with 20 people sitting around.

Enjoyable.

  • 5 of 5

This was a gorgeous place to stay and was ideally located for family members coming from Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington D.C., and Youngstown. Plus, it was large enough to comfortably accommodate sixteen adults and five children. Our stay was even better because we arrived to four inches of freshly fallen snow and left two days later with sunny skies and temperatures in the 70"s. The owners were also very responsive to our needs. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great weekend get away

  • 4 of 5

Shari was great with helping us plan a last minute trip to seven springs for the weekend. The house has everything you need. Kitchen was wel equipped. We had a couple small issues with connecting some of our devices to the entertainment systems (not a big issue, sometimes newer technology is hard to connect to old technology) we survived! Other than that we had a great time. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing Group Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our extended family stayed her over New Year's weekend. The house is delightful. Every bit the same as it appeared online. Beautifully decorated -- it was even decorated for Christmas which was a nice surprise. Kitchen is well equipped, large bedrooms, places for everyone to gather, firewood for the outside firepit provided. We didn't want to leave. And very convenient to ski and tubing areas (we did both which are just a few minutes away) and groceries/restaurants. Also only about 20 minutes to Falling Water which was a great morning trip one day.
