Quiet in the pine trees.

  • 5 of 5

All the extras were there for us. Things like salt and pepper, fire starters, games and movies. Especially loved the basketball hoop and basketballs. That was a hit! It was quiet and beautiful!

Woderful property in a great place!

  • 5 of 5

We were able to use this cabin as a base for visits to the Walnut Canyon ruins, Sedona, the Grand Canyon (twice!), Hoover Dam and the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert.

We squeezed in quick visits to a couple ghost towns and stopped in Winslow so my daughter could get a picture of her "Standin' on a Corner".

The property is exactly as advertised, the hosts gracious and accommodating, would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Very nice, home-y, beautiful setting

  • 4 of 5

My family, including 3 children ages 5-12, stayed two nights in the Pine Cone Ranch. We had plenty of space, the beds were *fantastic* (in fact, my husband wants to replace our mattress at home with the mattress in the house), and there were toys and a playset for the kids. The house is in a beautiful, semi-rural location down some unpaved but very easy to drive roads. Neighboring houses have horses and chickens, which was lots of fun for the kids. It's about a 10-minute drive to Williams, which has a Safeway and a bunch of restaurants. We took the Grand Canyon Railroad up to the park one day, which was a lot of fun -- although I wish we could have stayed in the park longer. We went to Bearizona the next day. This house was perfect for our family, and the owners were very responsive and easy to work with. Thanks for a super fun stay in Williams!

Cozy Cabin

  • 4 of 5

Great cabin! Kids had fun with the outdoor play set and the toys in the room. My only complaint is that the bathroom door that connects to the room with the full bed doesn't lock and I almost walked in on my friend going to the bathroom. Other than that, a wonderful and cozy place to stay.

Comfortable cabin, convenient location, light sleepers might reconsider

  • 3 of 5

The cabin itself is very comfortable, nice beds, kitchen is well appointed, and the location of the cabin is very convenient. We day tripped to Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, and Sedona during our 5 night stay. Close to grocery, dining, gas stations etc. We had a couple of very minor issues when we were checking in - and communicated with the owners who were very helpful and super sweet - both at check in and when we checked out. If the review were based solely on the cabin itself and the owners, this would have been a 5 star review. However, this cabin is located VERY close to a very active and busy rail line - active as in every 20-30 minutes there are trains rolling by 24 hrs. a day - blowing their horns, and you can hear them coming before they even get to the crossing rumbling down the tracks. If you are light sleepers, as is my entire family, you might want to reconsider this cabin due to the railroad noise - we purchased ear plugs and that still didn't do the trick. This is just our take - we live in the mountains of CO and have no neighbors or noise of any sort so we maybe more sensitive to noise - I just think it should be mentioned.

Owner's Response: Thank you, Tiffany, for the review. It is important to point out that all of Williams and the surrounding areas, including Flagstaff, run along I-40 and the train tracks. It is how the west was developed! So everybody has train noise, not just us. The one exception may be (and I've never stayed so I don't know for sure) one hotel in Flagstaff that advertises "no train noise" on its billboard out front. They claim to have additional insulation that covers it up. In our 15 years of renting, we've only had 3 train noise complaints.
