Summit County, Colorado is home to some of the best skiing in North America. With 7 major ski areas, it makes for a fantastic experience for skiers, snowboarders, or those who just want to get away and enjoy the scenic beauty while hiking, biking, fishing or just sitting and relaxing on the patio, enjoying a view of the mountains.

Our 3 bedroom/2 bath condo is located in Dillon, Colorado, just minutes from Keystone, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Vail and others. It is near the Summit Stage bus route for easy transportation to and from the ski areas without the parking hassle. Hiking trails in the forest are just a short distance away, or if you prefer biking, there are miles of paved trail nearby. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are also available in Frisco and Silverthorne. Many restaurants, coffee shops and shopping at the Outlet Mall are a nice break from the slopes.

Nearby Lake Dillon features spectacular views and outdoor concerts on summer weekends. There is also a number of regattas on the lake during the summer. Whatever time of year you choose, you will find many things to see and do for all ages.

We do take credit cards through VRBO.

We love the Summit County area. Any time of year there are fun things to do. And if the weather is a bit inclement, there is the large pool, game room and hot tub.

What makes this condo unique

In addition to the Club House with pool and hot tub, we also enjoy hiking on trails that start near the condo. There are a number of great restaurants and the outlet shops nearby.

We five ladies enjoyed a weekend stay and our family enjoyed a week's stay at the condo. The condo offers plenty of space for privacy, yet offers plenty of space to relax together. It is conveniently located within minutes of I-70 and is easy to find. The bedrooms are good sized and the beds are very comfortable. Having two bathrooms that are close to the bedrooms is a plus, perfect for 5 ladies or for family use. We found the condo spotless and well decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped, just like home. We made many of our meals in the condo and never lacked for anything. We appreciated having some staples like spices available until we could get to a grocery store that is also close by. The bathrooms even had shampoo and conditioner, hair dryers and curling iron! The condo is a perfect location for hiking, the lake is a short distance away and there are plenty of fast food and restaurants in the area. Of course the beauty in the Dillon area especially during fall and summer can't be beat and this would be a perfect hangout during the winter ski season as it not only has an indoor hot tub but heated swimming pool and game room to use after a day on the slopes. The outlet mall is a short distance away for those who love to shop. There is so much to do and see in the Dillon, Silverthorne, Frisco and Breckenridge area. Also, Vail is just 24 miles from the condo for those day trips. We also enjoyed having a Smart TV with the ability to enjoy a movie on Netflix. We will definitely use the condo again!

Close to all skiing areas

Overall condition of unit was fine. There was a water filling noise 24/7 that was in another unit that was annoying when trying to sleep. The snow covered parking lot made it difficult to always get a parking spot (no striping to see). Dragging ski equipment up/down the stairs was a burden. Wouldn't book this place again.

Owner's Response: Robert, I'm very sorry that your experience was not a great one. That is our goal for all of our renters. That said, there are some things beyond our control. The water filling noise is not something I have heard before. I was there yesterday and did not hear it. As for snow on the parking lot, it snows a lot there and they try to keep it clear. There is a designated parking space right by the door. I don't show that you ever inquired about stairs and I don't believe it indicates that in our listing. Still as nice as last time.

This was our secret no rime staying here and it was just as nice as before. Mark (the owner) is very nice to talk to and work with. If we get a chance to go back there we would stay here again.

Great for families!

This is a great condo for families with kids! There were thoughtful amenities like a high chair, toys, books, etc. and we liked that there were no stairs within the unit so we didn’t have to worry about them falling. The back patio doors lead out to a great open area which was perfect for snow play. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the location is close to ski areas, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The owner gave really clear and helpful instructions, and was very responsive to questions. We loved our stay, and will definitely be coming back!

Great location, great price, great owner!

Great location, great price, great owner..what else can you expect?

If you notice from the pictures, the condo has a pretty good size of yard at the back where we can build snowman and had a little snowball fight ;P

Overall, the condo is very well taken care of and it shows how Mark and Mary really care about the place. Mark also responds to questions/emails promptly or at least within an hour or so.
