34th floor adjoining A & B units with spectacular city/mountain/ocean views overlooking the Ala Wai Canal. Immaculately clean, non-smoking, air-conditioned, comfortably furnished with 2 full bathrooms. The A-unit sleeps 2 (in a full size bed) and has a new 32' flat screen TV, a wireless Internet connection (BYOC), an Ipod station, and a full kitchen (microwave, 4-burner stove, oven, full-size refrigerator and fully equipped with dishes & utensils). The B-unit sleeps up to 4 in 1 full size and 2 twin trundle beds, and has it's own TV, VHS/DVD player, and within wireless range of the A-units wireless router. $75 cleanout fee. Parking is available for $25/day and airport shuttles will bring you to the door for $14/person. You can walk to the beach (10 minutes) and blocks of exclusive stores and general shopping are close by. City buses can take you anywhere you want to go completely around the entire island for $2.00!!!! Take a vacation, enjoy life a little, call us before it is booked on your dates. We will make the the reservation with honesty, efficiency, and nothing left out in the contract.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, grew up in Ohio, came to Honolulu in 1973 to attend the University of Hawaii, and then made Honolulu my home. I lived in these rentals with my daughter while she was teenager until she went away to college. My wife, Irene, who owned a commercial vacation-rental cleaning business in Kauai for 13 years, has set the standard for our cleaner for cleaning these units. When not rented to our guests, we enjoy staying in them whenever we can.

Enjoyed out stay!

The condo had all the amenities we expected to live comfortably for the 4 days. Everything was as described. Enjoyed Kornetti breakfast, pizza downstairs and walked across the street to Tony Roma's more than once The neighborhood was not scary!

Very nice property, enjoyed our stay

The condo property is well furnished and well taken care of. The condo is on the 34th floor and provides a great view of the canal, and of Diamondhead. The ocean is also visible from one side. The beach is a mere 15 minute walk. We were able to get tasty frozen dinners from the all-night mini-mart next to the property. The windows were rather dirty but cleaning the outside of the windows on the 34th floor is difficult. Parking is $25 a day for residents. We did have a problem getting into the condo unit. Through prior arrangement with the owner the parking attendant was supposed to have the card keys for us when we arrived at noon. He instructed us to find a parking place on the street and enter the hotel lobby. I explained that we were instructed to get the card keys from him. Fortunately we were able to call the owner and we were able to get in by 3 p.m. We obtained 4 key cards but only two worked and one stopped working the next day. After a couple of trips to the security office we got all of the cards to work.

Location and view wonderful, size not so marvelous

Group of 5 in tight quarters staying in adjoining studios.

Two baths very helpful for travelers on the go early every day.

Studios were small with great views of the ocean/mountains in the larger studio with kitchen.

We were able to reach our various activities by walking or driving.

Location central for sightseeing pickup point.

Terrific dining areas (Cheese Burger, Tony Roma) close to location.

Yes, walking distance to nearby beach (near Hilton Hawaiian Village)!

Rowers on the Ala Wai Canal were exciting to watch!

Personnel was very helpful.

Maybe future renovations for studios and onsite amenities (pool, laundry).

Club downstairs with party-goers going strong past 3am.

Lodging good for our stay since not a lot of time spent inside.

Daniel was fantastic providing suggestions on sightseeing, parking, and other questions.

Good value, decent location, and nice views

We spent 3 nights here. The hotel has very little to offer and is in need of upgrades. However, we only needed a place to sleep in the nights and this was perfect.

The units were clean and well-maintained. Unit A is a good size for 2 people and has amazing views, especially during sunrise. The kitchen in unit A is small but has everything we needed. Unit B is a little tight for 4 people but since our kids are small (7 and 9), it was ok. There is almost very little space to walk when you pull the trundle out...Also, the deadbolt on the main door (not the ones for the individual units) is non-working...there is no hole in the door frame for you many want to make sure to lock the doors to the two units. WiFi is free and works just fine.

Parking is $25 per day but you can pay for your entire stay up front. It will give you unlimited in and out for the entire duration. There is adequate parking but the spaces are tight so be careful if you have a minivan or big SUV.

Location is decent. It is on the north side of Waikiki so getting to the beach takes a little longer than most other hotels but is still reasonable. It is however within walking distance of many stores and eateries. I especially recommend the McCully Shopping Center at the corner of Kapiolani Blvd and McCully St. It's only a 5-min walk away and has several good restaurants there (ramen, Japanese Curry, Korean tofu, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc.). The Snow Factory there is a must try. It is not the same as the regular shave ice.

Overall, I would recommend this to everyone who is not looking to spend a lot of time in the room. The price was significantly lower than the other options.

Short walk to beach!

This was 2 converted hotel rooms. Not an abundance of space. But for access to Waikiki Beach it was great and affordable.

The suite was clean and everything was in good repair. The owner called to check that everything was ok and we confirmed that it was.

If you have a full itinerary this could be a nice base but it doesn't provide a lot of space for relaxing nor entertaining.
