This is a really nice property with all you need for a quiet get away, just a short walk to beach

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I had a really nice stay with our son his wife and our grandson. We travelled from the UK to meet with our son and his family who live in Queens USA. The property had all we needed for a quiet get away. The beach is just a sort walk away and very quiet with safe swimming in the bay. There are many small attractive villages to visit and a number of vineyards but a car is essential. Larry the owner was easy to deal with and provided all the information we needed.

The property was neat tidy and homely and met all our expectations from the description provided.

Family-moon Quiet Beach Time

  • 5 of 5

I went here with my wife and brand-new in-laws who were in from overseas for our wedding. We headed out to this house two days after we wed and a week later we still didn't want to return to the city! The house is modest in all the right ways. Nestled into a woodsy, discrete area, the nearby beach is quiet though not desolate. The water was warmer and calmer that on the souther sea-facing shores, and we were able to lounge about on the sand or on our own rafts for hours. There are restaurants and shops nearby, but just far enough away that we felt safe from the normal July 4th hubbub that was resounding around town. In an area like this, we didn't want or need to spend a lot of time indoors, but when we did, it was cozy and comfy and just the right size and speed for our group. Plus, the owner was super easy to work with. Recommended for folks who want a comfy retreat. Just bring that mosquito spray!
