Yes we stayed in 207 during Hurrican Dorian and it was awesome to watch the process. Having stated that, it was our first and last hurrican. The unit has a wonderful ocean view. Martha was a pleasure to deal with....see you next year. Bill H.

Beautiful location but with the little things
The location was perfect! Directly on the beach. And we loved it. The condo was very clean and the description by the owner was accurate.
However, there was a few issues. First the back sliding glass door would not open without being lifted off the track. Then it could not be closed without being lifted off the track. We gave up when we got it open approximately 6 inches.
The vertical blinds on the sliding door would not open or close. They were tied into a knot.
The fan in the bedroom was unbalanced and made a knocking sound the entire time it was on.
The toilet runs. Nonstop. Even after jogging the handel repeatedly.
The bedroom is in the front of the condo and thus you can hear all the other guest running up and down the hall. It is rather noisy at 10 o’clock at night.
Again the beach was fabulous. I always love Hilton Head.
I’m sorry you ran into some issues. When you told me the sliding door wasn’t working, I Immediately called our Maintenance department and someone should have come and fixed it that day. Did that happen?
Sometimes guests leave the slider open and the A/C on. This is not a good combination as it makes the A/C work doubly hard and shortens its’ life. If the verticals ar pulled over, they will bounce around in the breeze so I assume someone tied them back. They could have just opened them all the way. No need to tie them back.
As for the bedroom fan, I can have that rebalanced today.. I wish I had known it was a problem because it could have been fixed sooner.
Again, I’m sorry you had some problems and I wish you had told me sooner as they all could have been fixed.

Wanted to love it!
This is our second year staying in this property. We so badly wanted to love it. Martha is great...good communication, easy to work with.
I think for two people this is a good condo. It is just too small for a family. If you need to use the pull out bed there is just no where to go in the main living area. It takes up the whole family room.
It was quite dirty last year but we over looked it thinking everyone is entitled to a bad day. (Cleaning lady) So I cleaned it really well, wiped down walls, cabinets, etc. This year it was really dirty again. The cabinets and walls need a good cleaning/paint job. Everything is just sticky.
There are also no fitted sheets for the bunk beds. There was only a top sheet on the bed. Martha was great when we contacted her about this and offered to bring waterproof mattress protectors. She said they don’t make sheets for the mattress size they are. Even a twin flat sheet folded under would work well. Just something covering the mattress would have been nice. I am not having my children sleep on a mattress that has no bottom sheet....especially in a rental.
We also could never find the DVD remote so we couldn’t watch a movie. There were three remotes...just none that worked the DVD player. Not the end of the world but eventually when all of these things add up you start to lose the value.
The pool was way under chlorinated and overall the complex felt rundown. We don’t mind old...but it was needing some maintenance.
We booked another year because it is nice to be right on the beach. We overlooked the other issues that were subpar as a trade off for the view/proximity of the beach. But in the end, it just isn’t worth the price we paid.
We love the location of the resort. Great area, close to everything you need and a quieter location than the other side of the island.
And again, Martha was very receptive and great to work with.
Just maybe a better condo for a couple.
Hello, Brooke.......I’m sorry you had issues with my condo and the entire resort. HHB&T is almost 40 years old and it is in better condition now than when it was new! It takes a lot of time and money to maintain an oceanfront community. The moisture from the ocean covers everything causing cabinets, etc. to be sticky, metal to rust, and wood to deteriorate. This problem affects the direct oceanfront condos, especially.
When you asked me to get waterproof covers for the bunk beds, I immediately called my cleaning lady and asked her to do that. She bought them and brought them over to the condo, but you told me you would continue to have your children sleep on the pull-out sofa and not in the bunk beds. The bunk beds are long and narrow and no company makes fitted sheets or waterproof covers for these mattresses. I wish they did!
I realize you like the location of my condo (I think it is a little piece of heaven!), but maybe another year you will need to rent a larger condo in a more upscale community, one that is not on the ocean and doesn’t take a beating from the wind and the water. If you want to vacation on the ocean, you have to put up with the toll the ocean takes on oceanfront property. I think it’s well worth it!
