Beautiful view without the crowds!

  • 5 of 5

Our family just stayed 5 nights at Grandview Cabin about 8 miles outside Driggs, Idaho. Fantastic property!!! My husband and I, plus our two college age sons found this home to be very comfortable and relaxing. The four of us so enjoyed and appreciated the quietness, the comfortable space and the unbelievable view of the Tetons! Even the view through the side entrance screen door was pretty as well as out the kitchen and front windows. The view was so amazing we all just found ourselves constantly going out on the deck to relax and take it all in!

Every night at 10:30 pm - midnight, we would go out on the deck and look up at the vast expanse of stars!! You haven't really enjoyed star gazing until you've been under this big dark sky without the pollution of suburban or city lights. It was a great memory for us to see the stars in all their beauty, catch meteors falling and count all those satellites crossing the sky. This made for great conversation!!!! I think adults and kids young and old, teens and young adults would find this home so relaxing and feel so safe and surrounded by beauty! Thank you for the opportunity to stay here!!

The first trip down the road and drive to the cabin might be a bit intimating to the more city or suburban dwellers...but that wears off fast and just becomes part of the awesome adventure!!

Finally, Driggs has a very nice grocery store and a smaller community grocery. A few very good restaurant options. We ate at Provisions multiple times. Wonderful fresh made dishes and friendly informative service!

We would go back tomorrow!!!

Becky

Owner's Response: Thanks SO much for this great review. I really am so glad that your family trip was made better with this cabin. I know it was an important vacation to you and your family! I REALLY want all who stay here to feel happy and comfortable, and to know that we are doing our very best to make your stay perfect. : ) Everyone loves this cabin, and the owners do a terrific job of making it a quality, upscale, comfortable, beautiful, private cabin. On a side note, I went up there a few days ago, and my husband and I watched a buck deer for a long time off the back deck. Please come back, and I'm so grateful for your time in writing. Janine

Very quiet and relaxing with superb views!

  • 5 of 5

My Dad and I stayed at Grandview for 4 nights in July and found the cabin to be a relaxing spot. The cabin had everything you need including bikes to borrow! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching moonrises and sunrises.

The Driggs area is more laid back and less crowded than nearby Jackson. Tons of outdoors activities to do in the area. Plenty of great restaurants and shopping near town. Still close enough to pop over to Jackson or Grand Teton NP for a day.

Highly recommended!

Spectacular

  • 5 of 5

This was an awesome place to stay. Wish we had a longer time. It is conveniently out of town. It is a great place for artists to paint when the weather is not the best, spacious and full of light.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for staying. We're glad the cabin worked for your needs. We hope the wood fireplace gave the ambiance you wanted, and the big windows gave you the views of the Tetons you hoped to see (even through the winter storms). It is a beautiful spacious cabin, and I'm so glad to be able to manage it. Thanks for your kindness in writing a review. That helps us to gain trust from others. : )

Beautiful location!

  • 5 of 5

I came to the Teton Valley for a fly fishing trip. Staying in this cabin was absolutely perfect. We fished the teton river which is minutes away, and also visited several world class nearby rivers. The scenery was amazing from the deck, including watching the weather in the valley all the way across to the Teton Mountains. The kitchen was great and well stocked, and we used the oven and bbq as well.

Thanks! We'll be back.

Great Home Base for Exploring Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Jackson, Idaho!

  • 5 of 5

My sister in law and I stayed for nine days at the Grandview Cabin while my husband and his friend hiked the Continental Divide 90 miles in the nearby Wind River Range. It was a great house--spacious, private, well-equipped and with comfortable beds and linens. Not to mention the full moon rising over the Tetons view. Driggs is close by and has a grocery store, we left the house everyday early morning, went up to the west entrance of Yellowstone twice, hiked 5 to 7 miles a day, went to Jackson for a float trip down the snake river, ate at some great restaurants. It was so good to know that at the end of our long days we could come home, spread out, and relax. We didn't cook a lot, but they had everything you need if you wanted to. Janine, the property manager was exceptional and helped with everything!! Highly Recommend if you are looking to be away from the hub bub of Jackson/Wilson this time of year!

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week adventure in the Tetons. House has a fabulous view and well equipped. We made trips to Grand Targee, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, and hiking around Driggs. The valley is beautiful. The location of the house is about 8 miles from town, so it's alittle drive but well worth the peace and quiet.

Enjoy!

Skiing Paradise! Summer Grandeur! Forest mountain biking trails nearby. Big home with a very comfortable set-up.

Being near the edge of the forest, wild game is frequently seen out the cabin window, including moose, deer, prairie dogs and Great Horned Owls. Rare Trumpeter Swans frequent the Teton River in the winter. An abandoned railroad link between Ashton and Victor has become a 40 mile long state park used by biking and snowshoe enthusiasts. The stretch north from Tetonia crosses the beautiful Bitch Creek canyon over an historic high steel bridge. The cabin provides guests with a selection of bikes for riding including two mountain bikes, two other adult bikes and a junior bike, all equipped with wide tires.
