Great Location, accomodations

  • 5 of 5

The house was beautiful, clean, plenty of room, for family stay, patio, view, full kitchen, living, dinning room, and atmosphere.

A weeks stay is ideal, leaving plenty time to absorb Yosemite, the Sequoia grove, and many viewpoints of the Park

Great Quality and Service

  • 5 of 5

The family and i had a wonderful vacation while staying here. We stayed a few nights and were in Yosemite for a portion of it. The house was beautiful and homely. The jacuzzi was perfectly taken care of, along with the rest of the house being clean and well organized. We even spoke with the manager, who was friendly and helpful before the stay. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to our next stay.

Disaster - Go some where else

  • 1 of 5

We stayed here last summer. Here's a list of things why you should not stay at this unit.

- Mice in living room and bedroom

- Unit was not clean before we arrived. (Garbage full, Sheets on floor, and etc.)

- BBQ grill > broken

- Mold in Jacuzzi > broken

- Dirty Floor, Kitchen and furniture

I wouldn't even pay $100 p/n. Very unsanitary.

Property #230516 Yosimite National Park Cedar Lodge

  • 2 of 5

Upon entry to the codo, there were a multitude of fies, beer bottle caps on the couches, candy wrappers on the coffee table, sticky juices spilled on tables, kitchen floor, and on the perimeter of the kitchen garbage can, a strong oder of garbage, coffee grounds on the floor near the trash can, a coffee pot without sufficient heating device and/or capabiltiy, an unworking jacuzzi (which was littered with dirty water and leaves), rugs that hadn't been vacuumed, and dirty windows, and a phone that did not connect with the front desk. These disruptions led to a return trip to the reservation desk (approximetly one mile away) where a request for a cleaning crew, and the repair of the jacuzzi was discussed. Additionally, the space provided, upon arrival was insufficient for a party of 11. The loft, had no bed nor light, and a ladder which would be unsafe for anyone to climb up and down througout the night.

The reservation desk remedied the problem of uncleanliness, but this did carve into our staying at the condo the first day. While the cleaning crew cleaned, we left. They cleaned for approximately six hours. Great cleaning.

Next, the grill did not work. It was not the propane that was probematic, the grill had just not been cleaned for quite a while. The burners had grime stuck in the flame burners, so after attempting to grill some hamburgers for one hour, we gave up and fried them inside.

The above inconveniences make being on a vacation, work. We do hope that you put other vacationeers on alert. This way, they can call in advance, and make sure the condo is prepared for a seemless and enjoyable trip.
