Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)
Our family loves going to Myrtle Beach! We vacation there every summer and love all that the area has to offer. Now that our children are starting to hit the ages where we have to entertain them, it is comforting to know that there is something for everyone in that area. We are very active in our community and our children have now become the focus of our lives.

Why Owner chose Cherry Grove Beach
The first place we stayed in Myrtle Beach was Shorehaven. We enjoyed the solitude that the development provided since most of the units are not rentals. If we wanted to eat in, we could. If we wanted to have friends over with us, there was plenty of space. I was concerned with being on the beach and felt comfortable with this location. Since we are across the street from the beach, there is no need to worry about parking - However - the public parking is in close proximity to the beach access. This is great for when we have family in town to meet them for a day on the sand!
What makes this Condo unique
Now that we have children, it is great because there is plenty of space for them to ride their scooters, and the pool is large enough to enjoy but manageable enough to control them. Being in the back half cuts down on traffic, and in the evening the views of the ponds and pools are relaxing. The Cherry Grove section is great because it is mostly family's on vacation. No need to fight with the Beach Week crowd!

Great place to stay
This place was at a good location to the beach. Not to far from downtown or the peer. Property was as listed.
Only thing I was disappointed in was not being able to grill at the condo. There was grills by the pool to use just would have been nicer if i was able to grill at the condo.
I give this place 4.5 of 5 stars.
Our stay 5.23-5.27
Needed wash off cleaning outside front door due to dead bugs. We used a broom to brush off most bugs off front door, vinyl siding and deck rails. The master bedroom needs new shades. Many clips are broken and can’t hang shade. Same with the second bedroom. The second bedroom tub was clogged. I needed to get drano and it worked. The sinks in both bathrooms were slow in draining and added drano for them too. I don’t think housekeeping cleans the comforters. They just provide sheets and towels. Other than those few problems my stay at the condo was very satisfying. Amanda was very helpful once we got there and no keys in the lock box. John Fusco
Thank you for the feedback on your stay. I have reached out to our property management. They are very responsive to our needs.
We were unaware of the slow drain-I would have addressed if guest had reached out during their visit. Our property management cleans the comforters and shams after each guest departs. Concerns with the vertical blinds have been addressed.
Comfortable, convenient, great price!
We needed a place to stay at the last minute due to the red tide in Florida. I reached out to the owners and they were very responsive- within minutes in fact! They even offered me a discount given that it was so last minute.
I admit that I was a bit concerned about the rental before I arrived due to prior reviews. I shouldn’t have been. I’m always surprised what people expect- and what they complain about. For the price (which was more than reasonable), the apartment was in great shape, convenient (just next to the pool- which was clean, warm and perfect; and across the street from the beach- about a 5 minute walk). For little kids, it was great because there are bathrooms at the pool and also at the beach entrance as well. There is a charcoal and a gas grill next to the pool which we used almost every night. The place itself is spacious. Two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms with bathtub/showers. A nice kitchen with pots/pans. I did bring a couple staple pans of my own, but I usually do when traveling since we cook a lot. It wouldn’t have been necessary though.
A prior reviewer said it was in need of repairs (e.g. some peeling paint on the cabinets). I wouldn’t have even noticed- and also, who cares?! The flooring was recently replaced (great floor by the way!) and the dishwasher also. The entire stay was perfect, and the apartment was in great condition. I would definitely recommend this place to others!
Poor maintenance of the property
The location was very nice and well kept but the condo was in terrible shape: coffee table was damaged, broken floor tiles, peeling paint on cabinets, and the master bath had electrical problems. I was fearful of using my blow dryer. The deck fencing is broken as well; the place needs maintenance. On our last day, the dishwasher stopped working. Also, someone needs to wash the windows.
On the flip side, the owner was very pleasant to deal with; I wish I could give a better review for her sake.
Condo was very clean & comfortable. Great location & easy access to beach. Owners were very helpful & easy to work with.
Not well maintained
The vertical blinds in one of the bedrooms were broken and could not be opened or closed. They were mainly in a closed position but not enough therefore too much light came through them at night. Also didn’t have privacy at that end of the room.
The pots and pans except for one were Teflon and were so scratched up that I did not feel comfortable using them for fear of getting Teflon particles in my food. The one pot that was stainless was so scorched and discolored we didn’t want to use it either. We went to Walmart to get one pot and one pan and sent an email asking the owners to reimburse us and never got a response from that email.
The floor had not been vacuumed carefully before our arrival. It was not clean under the table.
While I understand it is hard to keep patio furniture clean in the coastal environment, it was so nasty I didn’t want to sit on any of it.
The bathtub drain in one bathroom was so clogged that at the end of a shower you were standing in 4-5 inches of water.
The sink in the other bathroom was really slow.
There are a substantial number of tiles especially in the kitchen area that are broken, a sign that the subfloor is starting to fail and not supporting the weight of the tiles.
The sliding glass door lock was broken in master bedroom, but there was a cut-off broomstick to keep it secure.
We needed to supply our own trash bags and dishwasher soap, which we normally don’t have to do with VRBO rentals. There was only one dishtowel, no dish drainer rack, which was needed since not all dishes could go in the dishwasher and no kitchen hand towel.
