What makes this apartment unique

From Happy customers:

'I want to thank you for letting me stay in your apartment.

It was wonderful ! So spacious and authentic. I really felt like

a Parisian when I walked out the front door. I had only stayed on the left bank,

which I now realize has become more commercial.

Your neighborhood was filled with locals, and the shops

on rue de Bretagne were so quaint. Le Marche Enfants Rouges

was a delight. And the 96 bus to the front door was like having

a driver.'

Hi Jennifer,

I've always intended to write to thank you for renting us your lovely apartment last August. It was last minute, if you remember, & it all worked out so perfectly. Your apartment is beautiful & I loved the location. Xavier was there @ the airport to pick us up & he was most accomodating. We also used him to take us back to the airport. What a great service. We found the apt. to have everything we could possibly need & was so spacious for 3 people. And the luxury of 2 bathrooms, especially with our teenage daughter. The weather was so nice & the city not too crowded, either. I would absolutely go back there again or recommend it to friends. You were also very easy to work with. We had a wonderful time. Thank you once again.

A wonderful and comfortable spot for a week's stay in Le Marais.

  • 4 of 5

had plenty of room to spread out and relax after full days exploring the city. Le Marais is a wonderful area in which to be based with lots of restaurants, cafes, and food markets nearby. The apartment is an interesting 15 to 20 minute walk to the Seine and Ile St. Louis and Ile de la Cite. The Picasso Museum is a few blocks away, and there is so much to see and explore in the area itself.

The apartment is well set up for preparing meals at home, and there is even a separate dining area. We would all go back again in a minute.

Great apartment

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 3 1/2 months this winter (the third time we've done that) and once again had a wonderful time (and not just because it was Paris). The apartment is now well-equipped for a long stay: kitchen utensils allowed us to cook almost every night without any problems. An outstanding market and many food stores are located near-by, making shopping easy and reliable. A new organic supermarket had just opened, adding to the choices available.

The apartment is large by Parisian standards and the two bedrooms are at either end of the apartment, allowing privacy. The principal rooms are also large and in the good weather one can have cross-ventilation, also something not always possible in Paris.

Several modes of transportation are close-by and one can go just about anywhere in Paris and environments without too much difficult.

I also was able to use a Paris public pool, located 4 blocks away.

Finally, the upper Marais has become an exciting place to stay in, with new shops opening on a regular basis.

Charming flat in excellent location

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful flat for my 40th birthday trip. We loved every bit of it. It is in an excellent location, well equipped and charming throughout. Although, only two of us stayed it is roomy enough for family or girls getaway. Having never been to Paris I was unsure if it was a good location, it proved to be my favorite area. Easy to walk to Notre Dame, Picasso Museum, cafes and shopping. Metro is right around the corner. Jennifer (the owner) arranged for transportation from the airport which was a relief, allowed us to get our bearings after a long flight. I can't wait to return. We have recommended to several friends who also loved it.

Fabulous Place for a family

  • 5 of 5

We had such a lovely stay in this apartment. It was very spacious. It is easy to reach many areas in Paris since the Metro is literally around the corner. I highly recommend it to families. The kids slept in the room with the twin beds while we slept down the hallway in the master bedroom. This made it easy for us to get up earlier, while the kids got to sleep in. The twin bedroom was nice and dark with the drapes closed. It was great to be able to eat our breakfast in the apartment, pack up a lunch for our day, and then make it back for dinner, if we wanted, before heading back out for the evening. Jennifer was great to deal with. Xavier made us smile from the moment we met him. He took the time to answer questions and take us around the apartment to show us everything. You will not be sorry if you book this. We have recommended it to family and friends, and would stay here again without question. ( Also if you've read the book, Sarah's Key, the story takes place in this neighborhood - fictional book, but neat to read a book and be in that area.)

Australian Family

On arriving at the apartment we were delighted by the size of the apartment. The fabulous high ceilings and large reception rooms was a stark contrast from other French accommodation in which we had stayed. The gentleman who picked us up from the train (Included in the cost) was a delight and extremely helpful in settling us in. We enjoyed the ability to relax, wander down to the local markets ( Sunday and Thursday) and the the array of fabulous bakeries and food stores within a block or 2. Local Metro access was great. While the property was clean and neat, our only disappointment was that the apartment is showing signs of fatigue with paint coming off the walls and some updating of tiles and fittings being required.
