The Mauna Lani Palm Villas is a small, gated community of 44 luxury townhomes.

It is the perfect venue for your Hawaiian vacation. We are centrally located in the Mauna Lani Resort, within walking distance of the beach and all resort facilities.

This 1,304 square foot three bedroom + 2 bathroom queen model sleeps 6. Professionally decorated with designer fabrics, you will experience the best that the Palm Villas has to offer.

Located on the second floor, there is no noise from neighbors above. The unit has unparalleled views of the golf course and the pool and gardens. Upstairs units have soaring vaulted ceilings that add to the open floor plan to create a feeling of spaciousness.

The villa boasts a gourmet kitchen with designer cabinets, granite countertops, and modern appliances including a special refrigerator for your wine.

A built in gas grill with bar sink, granite countertops, and cabinets on the back lanai facilitates outdoor dining . The living room features ample seating for your entire group and a 50 inch wide screen TV for your relaxation.

The master bedroom suite features a king platform bed and another flat screen TV. The master bath includes double sinks, soaking tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen sized Murphy bed.

For people who need to keep in contact with the Mainland, this room can easily double as your office away from home. The third bedroom has a twin trundle bed that can be pulled out to accommodate two people or depending upon need, be left intact to make the room more spacious.

The Palm Villas pool and fitness center is right outside our door. The pool features lush gardens, a waterfall and a variety of seating and swimming areas. The large built in spa (hot tub) that seats 12.

Chaise lounges surround the pool so you can soak up the sun between dips in the pool. A barbecue area facilitates entertaining and an outdoor lifestyle.

A short walk from the Palm Villas front gate takes you to the private Manua Lani Beach Club. Your 5 minute walk will take you through lava tubes and ancient Hawaiian fishponds.

This white sand beach features covered cabanas, calm surf, and a restaurant/bar serving lunch, snacks, and drinks. The snorkeling at the Beach Club is excellent.

We have all of the gear that you will need for a day at the beach including beach towels, snorkels, fins, cooler, etc. If you prefer to drive to the beach, a key card is provided for the private parking lot.

Walk in the other direction from our front gate and you will be at the famous Shops at Mauna Lani. There, you will find a gourmet supermarket, Starbucks, an ice cream shop, Tommy Bahamas store and restaurant, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and many other stores, restaurants, and galleries.

The Mauna Lani Spa, Fitness Center, and Racquet Club are across the road from our front gate. There, you will find 6 tennis courts (some lighted), a 25-meter lap pool, weight room, sauna, steam room, and full service Spa. Indulge yourself.

The Mauni Lani Resort also boasts two championship golf courses. The pro shop and golf clubhouse are a short drive from the Palm Villas. Palm Villas guests receive discounted rates at the golf course and elsewhere within the resort.

The 15th hole on the South course is over the ocean. It is one of the most photographed holes in golf.

Additional resort amenities include 3 miles of oceanfront; a boathouse offering snorkeling, scuba, sunset cruises, and whale watching; 15 acres of ancient Hawaiian fishponds surrounded by miles of walking/jogging paths; and 2 major hotels featuring 14 separate restaurants

Mauna Lani Palm Villas is amazing

Great location, excellent price. Numerous activities within walking distance. Great amenities come with the condo: enclosed garage, beach equipment, access to the Mauna Lani beach club, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer. My brother and his family stayed for Christmas and had a wonderful time. Staying at a place as nice or nicer than your own home is much better than cramming 4-5 people into a tiny hotel room (or paying for 2 hotel rooms) with only 1 bathroom.

Great stay at Palm Villas

The condo and location exceeded our expectations. The condo had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing week. Kitchen is well set up, the lanai with built-in BBQ grill is very nice. Unit was very clean and the area was very quiet during our stay.

What we liked best is that we could walk everywhere - to the beach, the fish ponds, Mauna Lani Hotel and the shops. The Beach Club is really beautiful and the snorkeling was fantastic. Lots of fish and coral that goes on and on from the beach. The historic fish ponds are fascinating and beautiful, we enjoyed walking there in the morning and evenings.

Our only complaint would be the beds in this unit. They were usable, but really are in need of replacement. All in all, however, we would definitely come back to Palm Villas.

Wonderful unit, excellent location!

Our family of 4 absolutely loved staying in this unit. Having 3 bedrooms was amazing with 2 teens - 1 boy, 1 girl. The unit is stylish, very clean, extremely well stocked as far as kitchen, linens, towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and so on. Totally comfortable and classy. The master bedroom is huge. Having a washer and dryer was a big help, just know that the washer is a little loud and the dryer needs a couple runs per load. The pool is lovely, as are the grounds. The beach club is just beautiful, with great snorkeling very close to shore, paddle boards, classy restaurant. We honestly didn't know where it was, but it is on South Kaniku Drive. We grew very fond of the little supermarket at the Shops and were there most days. Saved a lot of money on restaurants. Do try the vegan/vegetarian place at the Shops (no matter your food preferences). If you happen to be there on July 4, as we were lucky enough to do, go to Turtle Independence Day! Management was very responsive and helpful.

The location was great for day trips north/east like Pololu, Waimea, Hamakua Coast, Waipio and even Hilo. Or south to Kailua-Kona and snorkeling at Captain Cook.

Highly recommend!!!

Great 7 days at Palm Villas

My husband and I were on the Big Island on business. We stayed at Palm Villas in unit C-22 and liked the quoted gated community. It was beautifully landscaped and offered more than we expected. We took advantage of the pool and the other facilities.

We stayed 7 days and took advantage of the grill often. The kitchen had almost everything we needed and could "run" to the near by stores for what we needed.

I walked to the great beaches that were a comfortable distance away.

We hope to return to the Big Island and Palm Villas(C-22) again soon.

My husband and I with our son and wife and our grandson had a wonderful stay at your condo. The rental process was seamless. The unit is nicely decorated, very clean and well maintained. We had plenty of beach towels, snorkel gear and boogie boards etc. There was ample space for the five of us. The Kitchen was well stocked and we were able to grill almost every night on the built-in grill. The grounds were stunning and included a spa and workout room and we were able to use the gated pool every day. We also were within a 15 minute walk from the complex to the Beach Club, The Shops at Mauna Lani, and a number of eating establishments. We plan on returning and have already booked for next year.

We have been coming to Mauni Lani for over 20 years and have stayed in most of the developments on property. By far this unit did not meet the standards one would expect from this resort. Foremost the unit was devoid of furnishings. There was only a tv stand in the bedroom which required that we live out of our suitcase for two weeks and had to use the ironing board as a bedside table. The other two bedrooms had no tv and only a chest in one and a small desk with no chair in the other. The living room had one lamp and no coffee table. Also the towels and bedding were of low quality and very shabby and even appeared to be soiled. The kitchen was also not equipped to meet the needs of anyone wanting to utilize it for cooking and eating. There were only a few random dishes and eating utensils. Also the cabinets were empty. No staples were provided, ie salt, pepper, sugar, coffee filters, foil, etc. We usually entertain friends during our stay but this unit offered nothing to accommodate that not even any placemats. When we arrived the air conditioner was locked at 75 and could not be adjusted to a lower temperature. The manager did get this resolved in a few days but until then we got very little sleep. We also had issues with the tv which was also resolved by providing a new remote but the picture quality on all tv's was very inferior. I will say that the development is lovely and the grounds are well kept and conveniently located but this unit leaves a lot to be desired. We would not rent again and hope that no one else has to experience what we did.

Many of them return year after year. In fact, the guests who stayed in this unit immediately prior to the guests who provided this review have already booked for 2017. The owner of this unit is a professional decorator and has provided a modern, airy, and efficient use of space in the furnishings. If this is your style, you will love this unit! We pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our guests. We ask everyone to let us know within 24 hours of arrival if they need anything to make their stay more comfortable and we do our best to provide it. The important ingredient is communication. When guests tell us that they need something up front rather than after they leave, we are more than happy to provide it. That being said, we recognize that our units get a lot of traffic, especially during the holidays, and we continuously need to replace worn, broken, or lost items. All of the linens and towels have been replaced in this unit and additional dinnerware has been provided. Guests who need additional supplies only need to call and request them.
