Enjoyed another great month this year at Royal Orleans. The new yellow color is fresh and bright...a nice change. See you next year!
vacation in Florida
The condo was nice and clean. Enjoyed the heated pool. Also a close walk to the beach. The room was bright and comfortable with larger windows and there is aliving room separate from the bedroom which makes it very comfortable. So we will definitely return.
Was a nice location
We were pleased with the condo & its location, unfortunately, r 7 night stay was cut short by the death of my mother in law, the 1st night we arrived we got a call of her passing so we had to get the next flight back home to make funeral arrangements, hope to try staying there again in the future
Relaxing time at the beach with no worries
Clean. Easy and close walk to the beach. Separate bedroom. Playground next door. Restaurants close by. Older building but well maintained. Central heat and air.
Very fairly priced older condo
This one bedroom, one bath condo is across the street from the beach. Walk one street over and then there is a flashing pedestrian crosswalk. Takes about 5 minutes total walking to get your feet in the sand. However, this condo is on the second floor so just be aware you must lug yourself and belongings up a flight of stairs. If you have any sort of movement issues this wouldn't be the condo for you. It is older but has been nicely repainted and some remodeling. Small kitchen and separate bedroom with two full size beds. The bedding/beds are very noisy getting in and out. I think perhaps the mattress covers are making the noise. Also the lock on the door has been recently rekeyed and VERY difficult to lock and unlock. You must place your key in the lock and then jiggle it into just the right position or the door won't lock or unlock. Really took some practice for us to be confident about getting in and out. Overall cleanliness was fair. However the bathroom really needs a very deep cleaning. It was grungy. The tub is old and just looked dirty and there is buildup around the sink faucet. The wicker cabinet placed by the microwave in the kitchen was extremely dirty/dusty. The air conditioner cools beautifully however it is very loud. There is a mosquito problem inside the condo. When we first arrived we killed about 6-7 even though we checked and all the windows were closed. We thought perhaps we had it under control as we never opened any windows while we were there, but more mosquitoes kept appearing. We wouldn't figure out where they were coming from. It is a very small and quiet complex backed up to a cute little neighborhood. Even with the issues we had with this condo, it is still a very good value if you are on a small budget. The area of beach where condo is located is family oriented and quiet. Just be aware this rental is definitely priced fairly. You will be disappointed if you are expecting more.
Home away from Home!
My 8 year old son and I had such a wonderful stay at #212 Royal Orleans condos. We stayed for a week in May and had such perfect weather. The pool area was clean and we had refreshing dips daily in the heated pool. The condo was clean and well stocked with all kitchen items, bath towels, local telephone, 2 TVS, bedding, beach chairs, umbrella and even a boogie board in the closet. The beach was right across the street and has the most amazing sunsets. The condo felt safe and was our Home away from Home while in Paradise. Very quiet neighbourhood. We want to come back again soon. The host is very kind and the property rental company is professional. Again, this place was very clean, we never ever saw a bug only a pretty ocean view from the dining area. Thank you for this treasure.
We are extremely happy that you had a great stay in our unit and appreciate your kind report. We look forward to having you stay again in our condo. Anything we can do, let us know. Franc/Sondra Gamzer
