Saida Towers is a Beautifully landscaped gated property on the beach including 3 pools (one heated) and hot tubs, Children’s pool, 4 tennis courts, shuffle board, snack bar and bar area by main pool, and plenty of grass area for the kids to play. Direct beach access with chair rentals available. Saida Towers is located on the south end of South Padres Island near the Causeway, close to shopping.

This is a ground floor unit in Saida I. Saida I is the building closet to the beach. Very convenient parking. Great Beach Views from the patio, master bedroom, and living room. Just steps to the pools and beach. Grass area right off the patio, great for the family to play or just relax on the patio (or cookout with our gas grill) while you watch the kids play.

Comfortable furnishings include a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bar stools, and a dining room table with 6 chairs. Family room includes sleeper sofa, love seat, and chair. New 42' LCD TV and DVD.

The master bedroom includes a pillow-top King size bed, TV with DVD, and a great beach view. The 2nd bedroom includes a queen and twin size beds as well as a TV.

Why Scott chose Gulf Coast

This is our third condo we have owned on South Padre Island. This one is great because of its location within Saida Towers. It is ground floor in one of the buildings closest to the beach. Has a nice view as the dunes are low here. Grass right off the back patio and close to the pool and beach access. Kids really enjoy it and so do we.

Immediate Beach Front Pet Friendly Property

Scott's condo was absolutely perfect for our canine babies. We could just walk out the door and being on the first floor, was just like the picture. The babies had plenty of grass to walk and the condo even provides pet waste bags. The entire condo was tiled, clean, and easily accessible, it was perfect for hauling all our luggage for our 6 night stay. We search hours looking for the perfect place to be able to bring our canine babies and this place met all our needs, especially for the price, view of the ocean, and ocean sounds. We will definitely be back and maybe even this summer!!

Thanksgiving at the beach

We enjoyed the security and the beach access couldn't be beat. The pool was right out the backdoor! We enjoyed the rental and will plan a return trip in the future here.

Scott was easy and fluid, the set up for the keys was perfect no running to another property back and forth and the experience was great. He was very accessible and the condo was perfect.

Clean the place up or just show a little care for it and it could be spectacular.

The owner, Scott is very nice. His property COULD be amazing. It is not. The floors are filthy---I didn't want to take my shoes off. It is worn and in desperate need of paint. The coffee table is dirty. Multiple tiles on the floor are dirty, chipped and cracked. The bathrooms are outdated. The lights in the kitchen are scary and dirty (at best). The table they have outside was rusty --there were NO chairs with cushions as shown in the photos. The table had jagged edges where the metal had been eaten away by the salt air---I cut my finger trying to move it out of the way. I called Scott about the table and he said he had one on order but it probably wouldn't arrive before we left .........but he did bring over a new plastic table that afternoon. I've stayed at many VRBO properties from FL to CA to Europe and they have all been very nice. This property (with just a little care) could be spectacular. The location is really nice and very close to the pool but the place is SHABBY. Scott, I own multiple rental properties---spend $3000 and clean the place up and you could keep it rented year round. To future renters---if there are only 6 pictures of the property and there are no pictures of the bathrooms, know there is a reason for that----I would bet that nothing has changed. The beds were comfortable, the towels were clean but for goodness sakes, make sure there are trash bags, dishwasher detergent (since you require the dishwasher to be run prior to departure) and at the minimum, get some salt and pepper shakers. The aluminum foil around the burners on the stove is not a designer touch. All that being said, I'd stay here again in a minute IF it was properly taken care of and the above items were fixed. PS The couch that is advertised to be a pull out couch, is not. There is a note on the wall when you get there saying it doesn't work and to use the blow-up mattress in the closet---with no sheets or pillows. :(

Owner's Response: Thank you for the feedback. The new patio table did arrive and installed at the property. We do drive to maintain a clean and functional , we do realize it is a bit dated. We do plan to do upgrades this fall.

Ok well How do I say this! The Location was Great! The owners are great! But like one review said , it's a rental . Very much ! I don't have noting negative to say at all . If it was me and I owned it I would since about $5000 into it to make it a little more modern and a little more bright full. Other then that we had a wonderful time .

The condo was clean from the cleaning service. I will give them that. Otherwise, this unit was outdated and plain. You can tell it is a rental. Doesn't look like anything has been done to it since the 70's when it was built. Beach and pool are close since back door has access, but with ground floor you lose the ocean view with the shrubs. Second floor and up definitely has better views. We rent often with VRBO with good success, however this one failed to measure up.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review and highlighting the cleanliness of the property. Yes, it is a rental unit (we also stay there from time to time). It is clean and functional with comfortable furniture. Excellent for families or couples that want easy access to the pool, beach, and grass area. For a ground floor unit it has one of the best views in Saida as the dunes are lowered by the beach walkway so you can see water and beach from there. You can also hear the waves breaking from the patio on our unit, quite peaceful and relaxing while the family enjoys the grass or pool area as well.
