Along with golf, fine dining, and many activities and festivals, this is one of the most picturesque areas in northern Minnesota! Experience warm summer breezes and gorgeous fall colors. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while watching a beautiful sunrise. Or mosy down to the dock to stare at the lake, listen to the loons, and watch for a fish to swim by. There are several options for boat rental right in Crosslake if need be. Our elevation to the lake is gradual, with only 4 steps down to the dock.

About Julia or Doug Steck

We are a retired couple from Rochester, Mn. We were owners of several business's there up until 2007. We purchased this property when our boys were young, after looking for 17 months! We had both vacationed in this area since we were kids, and enjoy the "up north" laid back lifestyle. We love Mn for spring, summer, and fall and then we winter in Florida.

Julia or Doug Steck purchased this cabin in 1997

Why Julia or Doug Steck chose Central

Our home is right next door so we are available to help you 7 days a week should the need arise. We do not work through a property management company.

What makes this cabin unique

We feel our north country offers the best for whatever you want to do. There is plenty of outdoor fun for all seasons. You can relax as much as you want in the tranquil surroundings of the cabin, read a book, sit in the sun, take a romantic boat ride during sunset, have a glass of wine on the patio, or fish off the dock. Or, we are close to town and all activities so you can also be as busy as you want to be. We are just 1/2 mile away from the lively atmosphere at the Bourban Room for lunch or dinner, or 1 mile to Moonlite Bay with a great outdoor deck with music in the summer, or fine dining at Manhattan Beach with the best sunset view around!
