5 BR, 3BA, Sleeps 13. Secluded on 55 Acres, Pictures don't do it justice!
History, elegance, peace and quiet in a rural country setting, in the heart of Ohio farm country. Our two story 1833 log cabin has been restored and integrated with a new log cabin. The 4500 square foot, 5 room/ 9 bed- 3 bath cabin is situated on rolling hill farm country, conveniently located about 30 miles from Mount Vernon, Coshocton, Newark or Zanesville (52 mi NE of Columbus).
Relax in the hot tub on the enclosed back porch and watch the wild life, or sit before a cozy crackling fire in the large family room fireplace. This cabin is a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, the ultimate place to unplug!!
Rustic charm and country elegance all in one beautifully appointed cabin. Great for family reunions, small weddings, receptions, romantic getaways, women or men's retreats or just gathering with friends. The house offers a fully equipped, gorgeous country kitchen, a wonderful place to cook while enjoying time with the family. The cabin is very clean, spacious, plenty of room for up to 15 people. It has satellite TV and satellite wireless Internet.
Your safety and security is our number one priority!! We have reinforced our safety measures. We have extra carbon monoxide detectors in every room on every level, fire extinguishers and smoke detectors in every space. We want you to feel that extra sense of safety when you stay with us.
Nearby property is available for deer hunting during season and is near Woodbury Nature Preserve (public hunting) which is only 20 minutes away. Many of our guests have hunted Woodbury and never gone home empty handed.
The Surrounding Area: Set in the heart of Ohio farm country, the cabin sits on it's own 55 acre farm. The area is rural, and scenery consists of rolling hills, woods, farms and farm land. We are about as far away from the hectic life as you can get in Ohio. There are miles of gravel roads in the area with low traffic, suitable for biking, walking or even horseback riding.
You are probably wondering what is there to do in this area? There are many activities from zip lines to wineries. We will be happy to put together a list of what to do, just let us know what you're interested in.
The owners, Frank and Lisa Stahl, live within 1.5 miles of the cabin and encourage guests to enjoy the farm sights at both locations. Our amount of interaction with you is controlled by you. You can have the peace and quiet at the cabin or spend time on the farm with us - it's up to you. We primarily keep the livestock at our farm, and are doing hay at the Weston House. If you like animals, we'd be really happy to share some of our farming practices and let you visit with the sheep (if they cooperate). Spring time is the best time to see young animals especially the lambs!! We are an authentic farming operation raising registered, grass fed shorthorn cattle and Katahdin Sheep. We also have horses, chickens, dogs, and cats. Typically we have around 25 cows and calves, and between 40 and 100 sheep.

About Lisa Stahl
Our goal is to have a beautiful and serene place for people to leave all the city hustle and bustle behind them, and enjoy the simpler life in the country. Frank and Lisa operate a working farm within walking distance of the cabin.
Lisa Stahl purchased this Farmhouse in 2005
Why Lisa Stahl chose Frazeysburg
We fell in love with the kitchen in this house when we saw it come up for sale. We wanted to provide a beautiful and relaxing property for people to unplug from their busy lives.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
The house sits on 55 acres of farm and pasture ground, which is ideal for nature walks and watching livestock and wildlife. The old cabin of the house adds charm and history to the new, elegant log home. It's a great get away for groups of people who may be family or just friends. Built as a family home, it is a wonderful place to spend a holiday, or even a short weekend and just relax in the simpler way of country living.

Cabin Cousins Retreat Escape
Overall our stay was a most welcome one! We had lots of room in The Weston Cabin and 3 bathrooms for us 8 cousins (all women). We was a little disappointed not being able to have a fire in the fire pit ( which had a minor problem) but we survived!! Would recommend The Weston cabin for a nice out of the way vacation in the country!
Perfect location to relax and unwind
My entire family stayed here Easter weekend and we could not have asked for a better experience. The house and property were perfect. We made use of the hot tub, fishing, walking the property, and toured the farm. Lisa and Frank were quick to respond with any questions or concerns, but there were really none. The house had everything we could have needed. The pictures do not do it justice! Lisa has so many nice touches to the rooms and bathrooms, it is decorated nicely and has so much charm and character to it. We definitely will stay here again.
It was a pleasure to be able to host your family for Easter weekend. It’s guests like you that make me think I have the best job in the world! You and your family are so courteous and respectful not only to us but also to the cabin itself. You took care of it as if it were your own. The cabin was so clean upon your check out. I had a terrible experience with guests before you arrived that left me in tears. When I came over after your check out it was definitely tears of joy! You could teach some people a thing or two about how to be a guest in someone else’s house. Thank you doesn’t seem to convey enough. Please come back again, we would love to host you anytime!!
We stayed at this cabin for 3 days at this beautiful and spacious cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday and can't say enough about it. The cabin is beautiful, spacious and comfy. It had all the comforts of home. We had our Thanksgiving meal there. The cabin is very clean. The owner Lisa Stahl was very hospitable and accomodating. Lisa and her husband are the nicest people we've have ever met. They were kind and gracious. We hope to return next year. Thank you so much Lisa for allowing to stay at your beautiful cabin!
It was my pleasure to host your family Thanksgiving. We had such a great time with y’all on our farm, you felt like family. It’s people like you that make my job as host the best job in the world. I would welcome the opportunity to host you and the rest of the family again as you are welcome back any time!!! Thanks again Carmen!
Beautiful home! Highly recommend!
What a perfect weekend getaway to meet up with friends. Lisa made everything wonderful and easy about our stay. She was very easy to work with and extremely flexible. It was obvious from our first communication that she wanted to make sure our stay was special! The home was perfect, combining both an old cabin built in 1830 with a newer addition with a huge master bedroom and perfect high-end kitchen. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us (4 adults and 6 kids), and lots of land outside for the kids to play. I wouldn't have changed anything about our stay and cannot say thank you enough!
Rustic cabin with updated ammenities
Lisa greeted us at the property and was about as nice as can be. We enjoyed our weekend stay and wish we could've stayed a little longer. Beautiful cabin and property that had everything we needed and then some.
An awesome time
The owners were on top of things. The pictures did justice for this property they have everything at your fingertips, literally. Looking forward to staying here again.
George, it was a pleasure to meet you and host your weekend. The house was spotless when you left! You changed my mind about men being clean. Lol! You're awesome and please know you are always welcome back anytime! Thanks again!
