Why Sarah Bedford chose South Central

Steve and Gwen Smith, Founders and Directors of Potter's Inn selected this property in 2006 because it was the most beautiful property they had ever seen. It is surrounded by three mountain ranges and in the back yard of Pikes Peak. It has a cozy, cocoon-like feel with a very peaceful setting of Colorado beauty.

What makes this cabin unique

We enjoy snow shoeing in the winter, hiking in the summer. It is so quiet here and we love to watch the wildlife around us, interacting with us.

Guestbook comments from the manager

My husband and I stayed in Eagle's Nest for a week. What an amazing experience. The cabin was well equipped and comfortable. The surroundings views and walking paths were beautiful. We started talking about our next stay before we had even left!

Awesome Experience

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the Eagles Nest at Potters Inn and had an outstanding time. The cabin is beautifully quaint, quiet and comfortable. The setting is a perfect place to care for your soul and the staff is the best you will find anywhere. I look forward to our next time at Potters Inn.

Making this an annual event!

  • 5 of 5

Wow! Potter's Inn blew us away! The beautiful view of Pike's Peak and of three surrounding mountain ranges was breathtaking. The hospitality of the staff was first class. Being 15 minutes from shopping and restaurants was perfect. Sitting by a wood burning stove in a rocking chair was the very definition of peace.

Found my soul again, found the love of my life again, and found a new favorite place. You have to experience Potter's Inn!

Potter's Inn at Aspen Ridge

  • 5 of 5

The location was absolutely beautiful. A short walk up a hill first thing in the morning revealed Pike's Peak in one direction and other mountain ranges in the other direction. The little cottage was clean, quaint and very comfortable. We would stay here again it is available the next time we come out.

Nice little cabin.

  • 4 of 5

Even though this cabin was amongst others, it felt very private. Wifi was great, kitchen fully stocked with essentials & the onsite washer/dryer was a plus. Here's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Pillows are due to be changed as there was a strong odor. After the first night I rewashed the pillow cases & put the pillows in the dryer to fluff & hopefully sanitize. Helped with the smell. Also, too many fake flowers & greenery to gather dust. That's a problem for people like me who are allergic to dust. I'd also suggest the availability of an additional blanket as the one on the bed was a bit thin but the comforter was too big & heavy. I also don't like using a duvet/comforter up around my face when I'm not sure it gets laundered after each guest. Having said all that, it was still a nice peaceful place to spend a few days unwinding. We enjoyed walking around the property & especially visiting the labyrinth & seeing the views from the top of the hill. Deer visited us daily, even coming up on the porch & peering in thru the screen door. We saw rabbit, blue jays, & even a red fox.
