We bought the apartment in 2005 after falling in love in Paris and with Paris during many holiday breaks from Ireland! We instantly loved the original french features of the apartment like the floor to ceiling windows, 200 year old flooring and beautiful cherubic reliefs on the walls. We live in Belfast, Ireland with our 3 young children and Nick works in Kenya which explains the African Art in the apartment! I hope you enjoy your stay in Paris. Warmest regards,
Lucy and Nick

Great location in vibrant area of Paris
The surrounding area is full of typical french architecture buildings which makes the Marais a very special, beautiful place to stay. The location of the apartment is brilliant for traveling to and exploring the area on foot could not be easier from the apartment. Half a dozen world class museums are on your doorstep, there's a myriad of cafes close by which you are practically guaranteed good cooking and it's a shopper's delight with many boutique shops. There are spas close by for total relaxation or bars and clubs for night time fun.
We've had a wonderful stay! The apartment felt cozy & welcoming. Love the shower:-). We found some terrific local restaurants & met very kind people. We hope to be back in the near future. Thank you, Paris, for a wonderful trip!
The location was so beyond perfect for our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and TWO bathrooms, which was so nice. If we went back, we would definitely stay here again, and I think that says everything! So much better of an experience as opposed to staying in some generic hotel. Christiana helped with restaurant choices, so much so that one of our favorite restaurant experiences was at a place she suggested (wish I could remember the name- a pizza/Italian place close to the apartment). The bed was insanely comfortable and felt like heaven after days of endless walking around Paris. I stayed in the bedroom with the bathroom off of it, while my friend stayed in the room with the pullout couch. My friend did say the pullout was a tiny bit uncomfortable. If the pullout was replaced with an actual bed, that would make an amazing place even better, however that would mean that there wouldn't be a couch(the pullout)/TV room.
Anyway, beautiful apartment in a perfect location with two bathrooms- not sure it gets better than that! Thank you!!
Oh and I forgot to mention: Christiana hooked us up with a taxi driver, Gérome I believe is his name, that waited for us at the airport for at least an HOUR because we had some issues with our flight and zero way to call or answer calls. He definitely did not have to do that, but we were more than grateful that he did. So basically, she AND he went above and beyond.
We loved our stay in this apartment. The building is gorgeous with high ceilings, large windows, spacious rooms and beautiful original parquet floors. It's very well set up with a handy washing machine/dryer and a good coffee machine. The beds are spurt comfy and the linens are soft and opulent. The bathrooms are fabulous - a nice bath for a soak and a lovely rain-head shower. The position - so handy for the metro and so many great places to eat or buy food - is great. Christiana was a lovely host and was very welcoming. Would love to come back and stay here. So very glad we didn't just stay in a hotel.
Wonderful apartment which I've stayed in several times. The two bathrooms are great with a lovely shower in one!
Last time I stayed with my wife and our three year old - he loved it - very spacious and a perfect kitchen / diner where he could play whilst we had coffees from the inbuilt espresso machine
Lovely location near metro and, more importantly, lots of great restaurants and brasseries. There's a giant Carrefour down the road for shopping and the local fruit and veg market is close
Christiana is a delight to deal with - very helpful and knowledgeable
I stayed this flat during my business trip with my colleague.
What I like the most is 2 bathrooms right next to each bedroom, accordingly I was able to have my private time very much and also save the time in the morning. one does not have to wait another. ^^
And the kitchen area is spacious and there is a big table to have a meal together.
Very traditional Parisian flat, located in Marais area, and there is a one of best backery in fornt of the buidling.
everything you need for staying is perfectly prepared by Christiana, very clean and neat.
We loved staying in this delightful apartment in a very french part of the Marais. Everything you could need is close by including the Metro, three bakeries, a butcher, restaurants, plus a cash machine. The kitchen was fabulous and how often are there two bathrooms. We were ready to move in forever . Thanks to our host and hostesses.
Our family of four stayed at the Marais apartment for 4 nights in July. Charming apartment, well-appointed and great location close to the Metro and other amenities. Our only problem was the noise levels from traffic made sleeping difficult (unfortunate, because the beds are super comfy). Even with ear plugs, we couldn't escape it. If you go in the summer, make sure you are okay with this. One other small item. Re-depositing our bank draft security deposit upon our return home ended up costing us over $100 with exchange rate and fees. Would have preferred to pay upfront the full amount in cash and upon check out, apply the bank draft to the rent and receive the balance back in euros given we would be in Europe for a week more. Just made the rental that much more expensive. Otherwise, enjoyed our brief stay in Paris.
The Marais is the hippest, trendiest area of Paris, with restaurants, cafés, boutiques and art galleries on every block.
