My husband and I recently spent a fabulous week at Paradise Point. The place was even better than we expected. It was our own private little piece of paradise.
Can't think of much to add that hasn't already been said about the place. Just wanted to let Jack and Tonya know once again how much we enjoyed meeting them and loved staying in their beautiful house. I hope we get the chance to return.
Some things I really appreciated about Jack (and Tonya): Quick to respond to our request to stay; emailed lots of info to us about the island...things to do and see; greeted us when we arrived, making us feel at home and giving us additional info on where to eat and places to go; being right there when we locked ourselves out of the house; keeping the yard beautiful (a large palm frond fell during a rain storm, and the next time I looked out into the yard expecting to see it, it was gone); very quick at refunding our deposit.
I highly recommend this place and hope we get the chance to return.
It's always good to hear that our guests enjoyed their stay at the Paradise Point. We truly appreciate their patronage!
Awesome Big Island Holiday!
The Paradise Point was a perfect property for our two families. The two separate units allowed us to share the common areas like the swimming pool and still be able to retreat to the privacy of our living quarters. This coastal area of Kaloli Point in Hawaiian Paradise Park has 70 degree, sunny days and cool trade winds blowing off the ocean. This is a friendly neighborhood and the Miller's are helpful hosts. Highly Recommended!
Always good to hear that our guests enjoyed their visit.
Mahalo nui loa!
True Aloha Spirit
We just arrived home after our 10 day stay. It was my husband, myself and our 2 year old grandson. We were greeted with the aloha spirit the moment we got out of our car and was treated beyond wonderful for our stay. Tonja baked fresh vegan cookies and brought us over some and boy were they good, she even brought our grandson over toys and some gifts (what a sweetheart). Thank you Tui for lending Colt your toys for our stay, your a wonderful young man.
The house is clean, comfortable and well cared for. The pool was crystal clear, the grounds are lush, beautiful and private. The home has everything a family needs and more.
It's wonderful to hear that our guests enjoyed their stay. It makes our work satisfying. We appreciate the patronage! Jack, Tonya & Tui
Beautiful home in Paradise!
We recently stayed here for a week with our 3 children (1,2 & 13) and can not wait to come back. We made so many memories swimming everyday in the pool and playing games on the beautiful deck! The location is also amazing. Hilo was an easy 20 min drive but we actually spent more time exploring some amazing spots in the other direction (near Pahoa) like Ahalanui Beach Park, Champagne Pond, Kapaho Tide Pools. The house is much closer to all of these awesome must see Big Island spots than Hilo which made it so convenient for our little ones and their napping schedules. The house is perfect for families with children, the pool is fenced in and the yard is so lush and beautiful. The owners Jack and Tonya are so nice and welcoming gave great suggestions on nearby sites to see. Tonya even brought over fresh fruit from their mango tree. We will definitely be coming back to the Big Island and staying at this beautiful house again. It is definitely home away from home and we would recommend this house to anyone wanting to see the beautiful big island of Hawaii.
An extraordinary find
What a welcoming and warm house this is! We feel so fortunate to have found it. Tonya, Jack and Tui embody the Aloha spirit . They are very helpful and available but also are respectful of their guest's privacy. The setting is lush and quiet. Tonya is an artist and has a wonderful sense of color. Be sure to look at her prize-winning photograph in the lower living space. The two levels give so many options for a family or group of friends. The house is clean and well appointed , as well as beautiful. The saltwater pool is also very well maintained and it was so great to take a dip any time of day. Our grandchildren loved it. We have family in Hilo and it is about a half hour drive into town, maybe more during rush hour. We love exploring Hilo and its fantastic farmer's market. It is an easy trip to Volcano Park. There is a great Italian restaurant in nearby Pahoa. We grandparents enjoyed the peace and quiet but there were many opportunities nearby for the more adventurous members of our family. We returned the next year, after our first stay, and it felt like coming home.
It's always nice to hear that our guests enjoyed their visit. It's especially nice to hear good things from repeat guests.
Big hearts and SUPER rental!
Our family of 4 came with Grandparents and had a terrific time here. The rental is great and the pool too! The two floors make it like two rentals in one. Very handy to have the space (and blow up beds to use if wanted). The home was comfortable, clean, and Jack and Tonya were quick in responding to emails and questions. A Grandparent was sick and Tonya even brought over some soup! It was also great to have a Master bedroom on the lower level (with a shower and tub) along with everything else and all the amenities. Big hearts and we highly recommend this beautiful home. We went out to Pahoa (saw the lava that stopped at the transfer station). Enjoyed jogging in the neighborhood and seeing the sights. Volcano, Hilo (Tsunami museum and Lyman museum), Mauna Loa Mac Nuts, South Point, Buzz's Honey and Parrots, & PunaLuu for bread, cookies & ice cream. We put on a LOT of miles on our rental car! Always nice to come home to the rental and pool!
We enjoy meeting and sharing the wonders of the Big Island with our guests. It's our great pleasure to spread the 'Aloha Spirit'.
