The 20'x 15' livingroom has two fireplaces and opens to the front porch (Piazza) with seating for dining, relaxing and a hammock for the occasional nap. The large kitchen is newly renovated with stainless steel appliances, marble floors, granite countertops and includes a washer and dryer. An oversized jetted soaking tub and separate glass block shower star in the bathroom reached through the charming bedroom. Chandeliers or plantation palm frond ceiling fans are everywhere. There is a double sized loft bed for extra sleeping. There is a second spacious bedroom with a queen sized bed and Sunny sitting area and a third bedroom with two twin beds for a total of five beds which could accommodate up to seven people.

Lovely home in historic neighborhood
We thoroughly enjoyed our Charleston stay! The home was lovely...well-furnished, with large rooms. We spent a lot of time on the balcony/porch watching horse-pulled carriages and walkers go by. The house retains its historic feeling while featuring all updated appliances and amenities. We were pushing a stroller most of the time towards the "touristy" area, and it took about 20 minutes...without the stroller, we probably could have made it in 15 minutes. I highly recommend staying in this lovely home in a wonderful residential neighborhood!
Great home base for exploring beautiful Charleston!!!
loved the front porch !
The perfect place to stay! We were so happy with it! Just as pictured, beautiful, spacious, charming
We were in town for our son’s wedding, and the apt held all of us nicely. The porch was so lovely, and it is spread out and roomy. We walked to town and Ubered back....about 15 min walk. Perfect location, I would stay again and again. My husband enjoyed walking to the Charleston Marina for coffee , 2 blocks away.
Very nice 3 days for family of 5
Stayed over Christmas with our 3 kids (one teen, two young adult) and had a very nice time. There was plenty of space for everyone, the neighborhood is lovely, and it's a pleasant walk to the historic areas. The porch was wonderful, until the unusually cold weather showed up.
Perfect spot from which to enjoy Charleston
I spent three nights in Charleston with a few of my siblings and we loved the apartment. The living space was large with plenty of room for the five of us to gather. We found the kitchen well stocked which was great as we had a small dinner party planned. The neighborhood was full of beautiful houses which made for a wonderful, easy walk into downtown. I would definitely rent this apartment again.
The historic peninsula city of Charleston, South Carolina is without a doubt the most beautiful of all the towns and cities in the United States. Cobbled Streets, Antebellum Mansions whispering charm, wide covered porches (called Piazza's in this Southern land), flowering fragrant gardens, sidewalks rimmed with jasmine, horse drawn carriages, a college campus draped in Spanish moss and the secrets of the past, ....Charleston has it all...and this home away from home for you is in the middle of it all...across the street from one of the most beautiful (and THE most expensive) mansion in town, an easy and delightful stroll to any and everything you might want to see: Downtown shopping, historical mansions, The Battery, White Point Gardens, Colonial Lake, The College of Charleston, The Medical University of South Carolina, some of the best restaurants in the entire nation.... Park your car in the driveway and start walking about - you will find no reason to drive anywhere
