A most excellent start to an exciting vacation

  • 5 of 5

This facility was outstanding. Ricqui has thought of everything, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Not only was the house immaculate she also gave us many good recommendations for sight seeing journeys and had many brochures for our review. I can't say enough great things about this place and the owner.

Just right

  • 5 of 5

Great two night stay. Wolf Tree Glen offered our family plenty of room to stretch out. My only complaint was that the house was too comfortable - made it hard to get out and explore Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. Ricky was extremely nice and gave us lots of information about the area.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

I was very pleasantly surprised by the lovely house, which was set up so perfectly for our needs. There is a huge master bed and bathroom on one side of the house with dresser, walk-in closet and comfortable queen bed. On the other side are two rooms, one with an equally large queen size bed and one with two twins and a bathroom in between. The living room was well stocked with TV and videos, children's books and toys, information on activities in the area and more. The kitchen is large and roomy and fun to cook in. With 2 and 1/2 bathrooms the six of us were quite comfortable. The area is lovely. Each time we left the house to explore ONP, we saw deer in the fields along the way. The owner was very helpful with everything.

Port Angeles Olympic Mountain View in a Country Setting FANTASTIC

  • 5 of 5

This vacation home was perfect for our group of four hikers from the San Francisco Bay area. The home is spacious and relaxing, with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2 living rooms, decks, a beautiful dining room, and a large well-stocked kitchen. We loved preparing meals to share, as the kitchen was so spacious and well stocked. The best part about the home is that the setting is pastoral and set close to the national park, with rescue horses grazing in the pastures outside your window. Decks and the dining area provide a wonderful space for sharing meals, and the kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, spices, storage containers and more. We even had ice chests provided to take with us for picnics! The home is in the perfect location for exploring Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, the Elwah River (don't miss the beautiful exhibit on removal of the Elwah Dam and the return of salmon to the river) and Sol Duc River valleys (don't miss the incredible waterfalls), taking the ferry to Victoria, enjoying the Lavender Festival in Sequim and more. We had easy access to grocery stores and trails, shopping and exploring the sights of Olympic National Park. Our host was incredibly helpful and shared maps, restaurants, favorite hikes and destinations. The home is also equipped with folders providing more information to facilitate taking the ferry to Victoria, explore Buchart Gardens, and access numerous trails and scenic destinations in Olympic National Park. The on-site laundry was an incredible help to our group of hikers. I would love to return and stay at this home again and recommended it to my neighbor who plans to travel here in the fall. The home was perfect for our group of four hikers and each one of us slept better than on any other vacation. We enjoyed the easy access to both the national park and to downtown Port Angeles, where we shopped for groceries and enjoyed some of the favorite restaurants. The owner is an incredible help if you need anything - she even helped with directions to the home when one of our hikers needed assistance finding the home in the dark. Enjoy a magnificent vacation at this home! We stayed a week and would love to return and stay longer!

Comfortable, well-equipped home!

  • 5 of 5

This spacious home was the perfect base for exploring Hurricane Ridge, Port Angeles, Lake Crescent, Salt Creek Recreation Area, and the many other wonderful things to see in the area. We loved having 2.5 baths and 2 different family rooms--it was so nice for our group to be able to spread out and relax! On-site laundry was great (detergent was even provided!) and the well-equipped kitchen made it so easy to prepare our own meals. The owner was helpful and easy to reach when needed. The property was very clean, and labels/notes around the house were helpful for explaining the various workings and ground rules of the home. We would gladly stay here again!

P.S. A helpful tip for parents: Our 4-year-old loved the playground at Port Angeles City Pier, which looks like a ship, and the Dream Playground, which is on the street that takes you to Hurricane Ridge (Race Street). These playgrounds were within 15 minutes of the property and were a great way to entertain our son at the end of the day when he still had energy to burn and we just wanted to sit!

Perfect location to explore Olympic Nat. Park

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I, along with 3 teens, very much enjoyed this spacious country retreat. We slept more comfortably here than any other spot on our 2 week journey! We had easy access to mainland Olympic Nat. Park, where we watched the black tailed deer play on Hurricane Ridge and hiked 2 amazing waterfall trails. We also drove to the rugged, picturesque coastal section of Olympic. Loved the Port Angeles area and appreciated the owners recommendations for dining and activities. Thanks for being a wonderful part of our family vacation celebrating our son's graduation!
