Guestbook comments from the owner

We certainly enjoyed our stay in your cozy casita. The setting is so beautiful, we were reluctant to go out and sightsee. We did go out and see some terrific things but this casita made coming home in the evening a joy. Thank you so much -

Relax Away From the Crowds

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time we have stayed at the Casita. It was even better than the first. Words can't describe the views, and most of all, the quiet, peaceful surroundings.

Everything you need is there, so you don't even have to leave, but you are close enough to everything to easily get to any of the area's attractions. Or just sit back and experience nature.

See the nightime sky as it really is. If you want a place to relax, where you can experience what it is like to hear only the noise of nature instead of the noise of the city, I can think of no better place than thiis.

Thanks again Ken and Lleta for providing such a wonderful place to visit.

Owner's Response: We always enjoy your visit. We love seeing you enjoying yourselves so much. The Casita is peaceful and serene and many of our guests spend a lot of time in the Casita just relaxing. The night skies are really black making it so easy to see so many of the nightviews. The Milky Way is often very visable. We look forward to seeing you again.

Private and restful place to stay

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I love the Santa Fe area, nice weather, beautiful scenery, unique shopping, great restaurants, lots of history. We have spent 4 or 5 days there each year since we retired. We have always stayed in the city, close to the plaza. This time we wanted something away from the hustle of the city. We found this casita on VRBO. It is so nice. The hosts, Lleta and Ken, we're so kind and helpful and close if we needed them, but the casita is a very comfortable 1,300 sq ft. house that sits away from theirs. It is cute, quiet, and decorated in authentic Santa Fe style. We loved the beautiful mountain vistas and quiet, peaceful atmosphere. It was only a short 10 minute drive to all that Santa Fe has to offer. I'm sure we will enjoy staying there again.

Quiet and restful

  • 5 of 5

I spent four days in this lovely casita. It was situated close enough to Santa Fe to come and go easily and yet remote enough that I felt I were experiencing the true New Mexico high desert landscape, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets and an expansive view around every bend. The casita was comfortably furnished and well equipped. I wanted to stay somewhere authentic and this home was it!

Quiet and Serene

  • 5 of 5

The setting is wonderful and the hostess extremely welcoming and helpful. We would enjoy staying again! There is a phenomenal view behind our hostess's home. She invited us to enjoy it. The Tesuque Market is a fun place to eat and we were close to Santa Fe and all it offers.

Incredible Place

  • 5 of 5

Casita Hermosa has become our favorite get away! The property owners take great pride in the place and do everything possible to ensure their guests are satisfied.

The accommodations are superb and matched by the magnificent views of the surroundings.

The location is perfect for sliding into Santa Fe or running up to Taos.

We return annually.

Awesome stay in a beautiful house with wonderful hosts

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 7 days in this cute casita which is located in the Tesuque mountains, only 12 mins drive from Santa Fe. Lleta and Kent are wonderful hosts. They made our stay a wonderful experience and as comfortable as possible. The casita comes with everything (dish washer, dryer, laundry machine, kitchen, coffee and tea maker,BBQ, nice patio, etc) and the beautiful view. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The car has a parking space right in front of the casita. The bed is very comfortable. We had a wonderful time.
