About Bonnie Greenwood
I'm Canadian by birth so I really appreciate the wonderful southern weather. I live in Charlottesville, Virgina, home of Thomas Jefferson and University of Virginia. I am taken by the old houses of the historic districts of Charleston. I never tire of walking the streets admiring the famous ironwork fences and reading the plaques on the houses which relate the history that this city has preserved so well.
Bonnie Greenwood purchased this Condo in 2004
Why Bonnie Greenwood chose Isle of Palms
We discovered Isle of Palms because of a USAF posting to Charleston Air Base and after several stays , bought this condo in 2004 and have been using vrbo for several years now. I enjoy talking to the many people who call for information and have met and made friends with several often returning guests.
What makes this Condo unique
Walk down Ocean Boulevard, the street on which the condo is located ,and within 5 minutes be at any of several local restaurants for the best fresh seafood dishes. Good pizza too. Even in winter the east facing balcony can be warm in the rising sun . Add a cup of coffee and a great ocean view. What more could a person want ? My family and I use our condo at least 4 times a year so it is loving maintained.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
It is in need of deep clean and new bedding.
Verizon wireless doesn’t get service in condo and I was told that property manager was aware or this after booking trip.
Location was great. Beaches are awesome. The only disappointment was I felt the pictures deceived me about view of the ocean. There really is none. You see a parking lot. If you look over that you can see out in the ocean but not the beach itself. For the price I expected a better view.
Love how close it is to the beach!
Nice cozy condo for our beach trip. This condo is one of the few in the complex/island that is right on the beach, doesn't require weekly stays, and has a good set up for using the bunk beds. She provides a ladder and guard for the top bunk which I could not find in many of the condos. My tweens didn't have any complaints with the bunk beds, but do note they are smaller than regular bunks. I had talked to another company at this complex and they didn't really set up the bunks for use so I was glad I found this one.
The owner was very helpful and made sure there were beach chairs available so we didn't have to pack them. She even sent some ideas for tours and things to do in Charleston. This condo is very convenient to the beach, pier, Charleston, the grocery store, a sea food store, and Ben & Jerry's!
Great couples getaway
Very convenient to everything, loved fishing the pier, laying on the beach, driving to Charleston for tourism and dinner. The condo was clean and cozy, great for a couple. Very nice stay as long as you realize you should bring everything you need with you. The view of the ocean was great even though is was a first floor condo.
The property was clean and comfortable. It looked like it had been updated recently. The area was great with restaurants and grocery store close. We enjoyed our stay there. Bonnie was very easy to work with.
Thanks for another 5 star review. I visit frequently and do try to keep pots, pans and kitchen things on the new side.
Harris Teeter supermaket/deli within walking distance. Luke 'n Ollie's Pizza a couple of minutes walk from the condo; several other restaurants too. Banana Cabana a local favorite as is the Windjammer. acme Low Country Restaurant is very good.
