Our gorgeous one bedroom condo is located at SEAMIST CONDOMIUMS ~ 810 Banyan Beach Road. Banyan Beach Road is off of 11th street and is close to Sandcastle Drive. The condo is on the ground level so there are no stairs for your little ones to climb and unloading the car is effortless. We have a 50' flat screen TV in the living room area. There is an additional 32' flat screen TV in the bedroom area.

We offer a king sized bed in the bedroom and a beautiful tropical tapestry futon in the living room for kids or extra guests to sleep on. Linens are provided. There is also a comfortable oversized chair in the living room.

Tile floors are throughout the unit with crisp, white sheet rocked walls. The kitchen counters are granite. We provide a full sized washer & dryer in the unit for your convenience.

The beach is just 150 yards away and a wooden boardwalk is provided or relax in our swimming pool just steps from the condo to the sparkling water.

SORRY, NO BOAT PARKING IS ALLOWED AND NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.

Quiet hideaway close to the beach

I generally have low expectations for economical beach condos. Many are shabby and noisy. However, we were pleasantly surprised by Seamist #160. The unit was exceptionally clean, nicely furnished with a well-equipped kitchen, and very quiet at night when we really wanted the peace and quiet. The walk to the beach was a breeze (a short boardwalk takes you over the dunes). We never needed to drive to the beach. I highly recommend this condo for your next Port A getaway.

Lots of positives, but one big negative

You can't beat the location of this property--super close to the beach and close to "downtown" Port A. The complex is getting a pool in the next year, so that'll be another plus. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need to cook or bake--but be sure to bring your own dish soap. The kitchen, living room, and bedroom were all clean and pleasant, but the bathroom was another story. The tub/shower was filthy-looking: lots of mold and mildew. Had this been a hotel, I would have asked to changed rooms, the bathtub was that bad. This condo has everything going for it except the bathroom, which is disappointing.

Great Condo Close to the Beach, Good for Families

We enjoyed our recent stay at this condo. It's a good deal for the money and the condo had everything we could need. It was so nice to be on the ground floor of a small condo complex...we didn't have to worry about trekking all our sandiness through the condo since there's a hose spigot right outside the door to wash stuff off and leave our sandy things on the porch to air out. Out back, there is a nice grassy area with picnic tables. It's just a short (5 min) walk to the beach so it was very convenient for us. It's also very close to the shops and restaurants in Port A. My only concern would be bringing a family of 4 here - our 3 year old daughter slept on the click clack just fine, but I can't imagine getting 2 kids in there or an adult for that matter. It could be done, but seemed like it would be tight. Jody was great to work with, very responsive, and helpful. We'll certainly be coming back to Port A next year!

great place

overall this condo was great. very short walk from the beach pretty quite place. my only complaint was there was very little cook wear in the kitchen had to always be washing stuff to cook. other then that our stay was very enjoyable.

Excellent condo for the price!

Condo is very nice! The courtyard is great for kids to run around and for grilling out. The beach is a short walk. The only thing that kept it from being rated excellent was that the pull-out couch is not the most comfy, I recommend bringing a blow up mattress instead. Wonderful condo!

Owner's Response: We love hearing from our guests! We chose a 'click clack' convertible couch because traditionally sofa sleepers are not comfortable. We thought the durasuede material on the 'click clack' would be a step up from a thin mattress on a sofa sleeper, guess not. We will look into other sleeping options and thank you for your comments. Please remember us on your next trip to Port Aransas.
