Beautiful Home for 6

  • 4 of 5

The house is beautiful and was a great place for us to come home to after our long days hiking. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the master suite was very nice. The views out the back were gorgeous.

Our only complaint is that the listing says that the house has a sleeper sofa/ futon and sleeps 9, which it does not. The house only has beds to sleep 6 people. We were told that there were air mattresses in a closet, which was locked, so they did us no good. We had to go to Walmart the night we arrived and purchase an air mattress.

If you have 6 or fewer people I would definitely recommend staying here.

Paradise in the Mountains

  • 5 of 5

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this home is. Everything you could possibly need has been provided. All you have to do is unpack, grab a glass of wine and relax on the back patio enjoying the beauty. This home is centrally located: 5 minutes to town, 25 minutes to Bearizona and Williams, but be prepared. Once you are settled in, you won't want to go anywhere. We took walks everyday and felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere. My granddaughter had a great time feeding the squirrels, taking walks with the flashlight at night, and just playing out in the woods. Our last morning we even had a little fox come up to the house. Such a treat! I would recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty that Flagstaff has to offer. We will definitely be telling all our friends about this place. This is as good as it gets. Thank you Jerry for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Very nice home in a great, quiet location

  • 4 of 5

Fireworks Ranch was perfect for our group of six women, who were celebrating their 34th year together at "Summer Camp". Lots of room, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, quiet location. We didn't see any deer or antelope playing, but we did see squirrels, birds, fireflies.

All the comforts of home are provided. Just show up and enjoy the solitude in a luxurious setting. Professionally managed from top to bottom. Stayed here before....brought guests this time....they said it was one more item to check off their bucket list but will DEFINATELY be back again!

Property not cleaned

  • 2 of 5

The house was very roomy and it could have been a nice stay. Unfortunately, after travelling all day, we arrived a house that had not been cleaned. All the sheets and towels were dirty. There was hardly any paper products in the house. We tried to find a hotel close by to spend the night, however, they were all sold out. We stayed up washing towels and sheets, just so some of the members of the family could get some rest. Even when the cleaners made it the next day, they did not restock any toilet paper or tissues. We are not used to staying at VRBO properties, but you would think they would at least supply those staples.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We apologies for the confusion on the cleaning. There were only a few hours to get the house ready between rentals and I made the error of not relaying that information to our cleaning service. This is why we immediately refunded your cleaning deposit. We have been renting our vacation home on VRBO since 2006 and have never had something like this happen. As you can see by our many reviews, we work very hard to ensure that everyone of our guests are happy. We know that there isn't a better value for the money in all of Flagstaff. With that said, we hope to see you again and thank you for being our guests. Safe Travels!

Beautiful Home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for five nights and traveled to Grand Canyon, Page, AZ and Sedona during the week. It made for a lot of driving, but the house was a great place to come back to every night. It was very private and felt like our own retreat in the woods. Comfy furniture and beds. Really no complaints. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a central location to explore Arizona.
