Guest Review: We just returned from an eight night stay at this home and we had an amazing time. Anita was there to greet us and house smelled wonderful from brownies baking. The house is warm and charming and it had everything we needed. Anita is very thoughtful as she leaves all the essentials and niceties there for the guests. The house is very clean and the bedrooms/bathrooms are very spacious. The living area is fantastic and the fireplace warmed up the living space and made it very cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishes and utensils. The home is a perfect location for major attractions such as Grand Canyon, Montezuma Castle, Sedona, etc. It is a great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. We brought wonderful memories back and will certainly consider renting this house again.

Guestbook comments from the owner

"My husband and I rented this lovely home for a week's stay in the Sedona area. It was perfect --- roomy, comfortable, fully appointed with everything we needed and blissfully quiet. The home in Cottonwood is only 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Sedona and 15 minutes from the quaint mining town of Jerome, yet when out on the patio at night with a thousand stars all around, you feel like you are the only ones in the world. The location was excellent for the many day trips we made to hike in all directions. Anita is the perfect host and I would not hesitate to stay at this home again in the future."

What a great spot to stay!

When we arrived the warm brownies were waiting for us, they were amazing! This home offered more than we even imagined. It was like visiting the home of an old friend. We could not have had a better time and we will be back for sure! Thanks Anita

Peaceful comfort, and a great location from which to explore

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a great time at this 3 BR home in Cottonwood. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, with plenty of room to spread out in. The brownies cooling on the counter when we arrived were a thoughtful welcome! We arrived during a very hot week in June and the house was a cool and refreshing oasis.

This home was a great central location from which we had day trips to Sedona for hiking, Jerome for dining and shopping, and Phoenix for a Diamondbacks baseball game. We enjoyed shopping in Old Town Cottonwood and enjoyed local restaurants there.

Clean, spacious, and equipped with everything needed for a family of five.

  • 5 of 5

Coming from an urban area, this location is great for our family. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood and plenty of great views. Whether you want to spend your day outdoors or simply relax and unwind, this is the place. We have three children under the age of 12 and they loved it. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home...close to all the places we wanted to visit. The home and the patio were very comfortable, the brownies Anita made were delicious. Home was immaculate, beds very comfortable. We plan on returning in the future. Thank you Anita for your hospitality. Lydia and Troy

Exceeded our expectations

  • 5 of 5

My 2 girlfriends and myself stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful home in Cottonwood. First I want to say that Anita is VERY easy to work with, to get in touch with, and very flexible and understanding, as we had to change our reservation date due to an unforeseen event. The house is located very conveniently to Jerome, Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Sedona and Page Springs. If I had to come up with a negative thing, it would be that no soap was provided in the bathrooms, so bring soap! The brownies are everything all the previous reviewers said! I live in Arizona and usually stay in Sedona when I travel in that direction, but I think I will be staying at Anita's whenever her house is available.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much! Sorry about the supply glitch! We normally provide softsoap, but not shampoo! We look forward to having you here again, and I promise the soap will be here next time! Anita
