About The Owner

A massage therapist for the last 30 years and a nurse for the last two plus years, I work at Espanola Hospital and do bodywork at my own private studio. I came to Santa Fe many years ago for a short visit, and fell in love with the land, the sky, the interesting mix of people. An avid rafter, skier, hiker, I love the close proximity of the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains. This, coupled with the diverse artistic offerings make this community a unique place to live.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2007

Why The Owner chose Santa Fe

My vacation rental is in an ideal location, just blocks from the city center, a wonderful local market, and the artistic center of the city, Canyon Road. My tenants can park off-street and walk to many major restaurants, galleries, and historic landmarks. It is a perfect location for lobbyists and legislators working in the government since the Capital Building is right down the street.

What makes this condo unique

Casita Arbolita is a work of art; hand-crafted details-travertine shower, granite-tile countertops, flagstone and cherry wood floors, mahogany cabinets, Anasazi stone steps, private courtyard with a gas grill. Wi-Fi satellite TV, washer/dryer, off-street parking, a fully equipped kitchen and more. Its location provides an opportunity to visit Santa Fe without needing to drive or be concerned with parking.

A Real Find in Santa Fe

  • 5 of 5

Although I have been coming to Santa Fe for nearly 40 years, this is the first time I stayed in a private casita. And it was a great experience. The owner was extremely gracious and helpful, and the casita was fantastic! It was decorated beautifully and comfortably. The bed was wonderful, the location fabulous, and just about every amenity you would want is there. And, the price is less than you would pay for a moderate hotel room. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

The casita was extremely cozy with all the comforts of home, Janice didn't miss a thing. We enjoyed walking to town every day for meals and shopping and then coming back to this comfy home was icing on the cake. Thanks for making our stay that much more enjoyable.

November Stay

  • 5 of 5

The Casita was very comfy and fully furnished. It is located walking distance to the old downtown and the art district. Our hostess, Janice, could not have been nicer. I made a mistake about when we were to leave and someone else showed up for the rental when we were still there. A very embarrasing moment for me. Janice was very understanding and managed to accomodate us both. Could not ask for better hospality than that!

This condominium ranks as one of the better rentals we have had through this service. Its location, charm, and the owners' hospitality made this a wonderful place to spend a week in Santa Fe.

Casita arboles in the heart of historic Santa Fe was lovely and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

I enjoyed my stay and appreciated Janice helping me with the simple task of location and check in. The home was as advertised. Both in terms of city location and interior accommodations.so many lovely interior decor touches. A very nice welcome basket of snacks. Walking to and from the downtown plaza was simple and straight forward. Walking to a local market for food and libations was easy.
