About Suni Nasuti

Aloha, my husband, who works 12 hours a day, my 19 year old son left home for university in Japan, I work, that, although we live in main part of the house, we are not home much to enjoy the beach and the surroundings. We want our guest to fully enjoy the private beach and feel it's their own home with out feeling disturbed by others.

Suni Nasuti purchased this house in 2004

Why Suni Nasuti chose Honolulu

The property is easy to get to and from an airport; it's remote, which keeps it from getting too crowded with tourists.

Private Beach offers serenity and sit around newly built huge FIRE PIT to warm up after wading in the water.

What makes this house unique

The property is a beach front with large back yard and it has a 2 story look-out tree deck.

5 minute drive to world famous snorkeling spot (Hanauma Bay), restaurants, and a shopping district.

One of a kind property!

  • 5 of 5

This is a truly unique property with a private beachfront with shallow water/no waves, treehouse, koi pond and outdoor BBQ and fire pit. Our kids (age 2 and 5) were happy to just run around and play with the resident ducks, frogs, and fish and catch crabs on the beach!

The 2 BR unit is small but very nicely finished With a great location - 5 min from world class snorkeling at hanauma bay, and easy to access downtown Waikiki and east/north shores. Only drawback no dishwasher, and need to climb stairs to the unit.

A Wonderful Experience!

  • 5 of 5

I would definitely recommend this property for rental, and I hope to rent it again myself. It is well located for exploring the whole island with great hikes nearby (Koko Crater is very close, and Diamond Head is not much farther). We were there with 5 people for 7 nights the beginning of June 2017. Although the rooms are not particularly large it was SO much nicer than being crammed in a couple of hotel rooms! The outside area is simply amazing and beautiful! All beaches in Hawaii are public but we never saw anyone else on our little beach. The water is shallow enough to play around in even if you are not a strong swimmer and would be really perfect for younger children since it was always calm. The owners (who do live downstairs) were available for questions or to assist but were not intrusive in any way. We were very happy with the backyard beach, but when we decided to spend a little time at a larger beach they gave us a great tip for one to visit that we really loved! A grocery store is blocks away, and there is a nice area with a variety of good restaurants very nearby. We rented a mid-sized SUV and had no trouble with the parking, but it might be difficult to park a very large SUV in the space provided so keep that in mind when you rent a car if you choose this property. And really, you should stay here! We had so much fun during our week here that I would return every year if I could!

Perfection

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for such a wonderful oasis. The guest house is beautifully finished, the yard and bay are perfection, we loved meeting the owners, and we hope to come back soon! To anyone worried about road noise: Since you are vacationing in Honolulu, a city of a million people, it isn't going to be quiet. That isn't a fault of this property, it is just Honolulu in general. We found it comfortable to close up the windows at night and run the air-conditioners in the bedrooms, so the road noise wasn't an issue.

Fantastic vacation spot--especially with kids!!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved every second here. It's the perfect, central location for all the activities we wanted... Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, Pearl Harbor, hiking Diamondhead, etc... The apartment above the garage is small but clean and cute. The backyard is to DIE FOR, especially with kids. We paddleboarded, kayaked, swam, played in the tree house, caught lizards, fed the turtles and fish, laid in the sun reading books, etc... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Amazing setting for enjoying Oahu

  • 5 of 5

The home is comfortable and the setting is unbelievable. We are a family of four that stayed here for a week. The location is convenient to driving up Oahu's shore to several beautiful beaches or hikes. Honolulu is only 15 minutes away and if you feel like staying put, you can wade (or kayak or paddle-board) out into the sand-bottomed bay for nearly a quarter mile before the water is anything more than waste high. Scenes of sunrise are amazing for early risers (like us coming from the Eastern time zone) and if you want to enjoy the sun set on the same day you see it rise, just take a drive to Waikiki only a few miles down the road.

The owners are gracious and accommodating and the unit is part of their home, though completely separate. While we enjoyed meeting the owner, but we never felt as if we were intruding on someone's home as we were very comfortable coming and going. There is some road noise which does not bother me in the least, but prospective renters may want to know. Several nice restaurants and two full service grocery stores are each within 2 miles of the home. The rental includes a stove-top, microwave,, fridge with water and ice dispenser, utensils, dishes, coffee maker, washer-dryer, iron and ironing table, Cable TV (which I never watched, and wireless internet which worked well for us).

The crown-jewel of this rental in my opinion is the yard backing up to the beach and the many ways to sit and enjoy the views, from the "tree-fort" with stairs leading to a platform with chairs and a swing, to the shaded bar-b-q area with chairs and a picnic table to the other corner raised deck with lounge chairs and "patio" lounges.

True meaning of Aloha!

  • 5 of 5

This place is an oasis in Oahu. It is conveniently located close to Honolulu, about a 15 minute drive, so you can enjoy the Waikiki shopping and beach. Suni and Ronnie have a beautiful home with a separate 2 bedroom/1 bath unit with its own entrance. You have access to their tranquil backyard that is on the bay! They have paddle boards and kayaks for use and the sunrise/sunsets are AMAZING!

Suni keeps the place spotless. There is a kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit, as well as self contained A/C units. The wood floors, appliances and water fixtures were very nice.

Four of us stayed here and were very comfortable.

The house is located on a busy street but once you close the gate you enter a special place in Oahu that is a true sanctuary. Our family has travelled the globe and this is a place we will definitely return to.
