Very clean, comfortable, well furnished condo in the beach front area of Isle of Palms at the Ocean Inn Condominiums. We are just an easy walk to the beach (300 yards) and to the restaurants, bars and shops in the downtown area. This second floor condo is an end unit that allows some privacy for our guest as they sit outside to catch the ocean breeze. The unit has a lot of windows to let the natural light in and a lot more room to live in during your stay then any hotel has to offer on the island. There is a coined laundry mat on the property for all the guest to use. There is plenty of parking on site with no additional parking charges. Beautiful historical Charleston SC is just 20 minutes away.

About The Owner

My Husband and I have been property managers here at the Ocean Inn since 2001. I am a South Carolina girl and my husband is from Germany. We have managed, at one time or another all 20 condos and now have decided to downsize to just our own and family members that live in the Charleston area. The Ocean Inn has been our home all of the 15 years we have lived here on the Isle of Palms. Being so close to Charleston and of course just a short walk to the beach has been wonderful.

When the previous owner of Ocean Inn, that we were managers for, decided to convert the property into condos we were able to purchase this one. Most of the units were sold to local people and it has been a joy to watch as the new owners improved the condos to their own taste. Since ever condo is different in layout and setup each place shows a lot of character which appeals to a lot of guest.

Why The Owner chose Isle of Palms

Park your car and never leave the island if you just want to relax and play on the beach. The walk to the beach is very easy, with a city sidewalk, one slow traffic road to cross and a wooden boardwalk all the way to the beach. No dragging your beach gear through the sand until you reach the beach!

And when the summer storms come in the afternoon, its just a short way to the condo to wait it out, no waiting hours to vacate the island like we have observed many times and driving around trying to find a parking place when you can park right where you stay.

Great place! Pet friendly!

We have stayed in this condo 3 times and plan to go back. It has a very beachy decor, full kitchen, living and dining area. There is an ocean view from the porch and the corner gets the breeze. And pet friendly! Outside there is a pool and cook out areas with grills and picnic tables. This condo is walking distance to everything.

Great Vacation Getaway!

We loved the IOP area and our stay at the Ocean Inn. Our condo was very clean, cozy and exactly what we were looking for, especially for the price. We stayed in one of the upstairs units with a balcony overlooking the pool. It’s in a great location, with lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The condos are pet friendly and we enjoyed taking our 2 cavaliers for walks on the beach, which is only a block away. The owners; Siebelt and Thelma were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend the Ocean Inn to our friends and family and are looking forward to going back sometime soon.

Great place to stay

This condo was perfect for Weekend escape with the girls to celebrate my 50th birthday. Found this jewel and loved every minute of our stay. Great location for beach and shopping. Also easy trip to downtown. For sight seeing. Highly recommend Ocean Inn. Plan to return and stay here again. Local restrauants in walking distance were also great. Love Isle of Palms and Ocean Inn

A nice,quiet place to stay. The description was accurate . It was cleaned and well maintained. A few of the windows would not open,therefore we had to run the air. We might not have if we could of opened them. Thelma and Seibelt were very sweet and helpful. A great place to stay. The area is wonderful,walking distance to the ocean and eating places. The steps up are a bit challenging ,but there are 1st. floor units. The isle of Palms is wonderful and peaceful.

Excellent visit!!!

Great place to stay! Stayed for six weeks January- February 2014. A few minute walk to the beach and the ocean. Also within quick walking distance to bars, restaurants, and shops on Isle of Palms. The Isle of Palms County Park is a few minute walk as well. Great, quiet residential neighborhood for walking. Condo was very neat, clean, and well organized. The on-site property managers are very nice people and are very good at taking care of the property and answering any questions of nearby things to do. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Isle of Palms!!!

We are located on the nearest Island to Charlestion SC. Just a short drive and you are in the historical area of Charleston with great shopping, first class restaurants and Charleston bay views.

Pet Fee $95 + Tax
Cleaning Fee $50 + Tax
Security Deposit $150
Tax Rate 14.0%

Pet fee is $20 per/night per/pet or $95 per/week per pet.

Rates are higher for days that include a holiday, special events and minimum days required may also change for these times.

For monthly stays that are available from Nov. 1 - end of Mar. there is a $150 housekeeping charge and a $500 sec. dep. required. Pet charge for the month is $150.

Cancelation Policy: Notification of four (4) weeks prior to rental period required for refund on deposit. Refunds on cancellations within the four (4) week period will be based upon re-booking of the same rental unit for the same period. A cancellation charge of 10% of total rental rate ($50.00 minimum) will be deducted from all refunds.
Security deposit and housekeeping charge are required for any stay that are a month or more.

50 % of rental rate is required for a deposit. The balance plus taxes due 30 days before arrival. Any reservation made within 45 days of arrival must be paid in full within 24 hours of making the reservation. I use my own merchant service account where guest can enter in their card and person information without us having to collect it. I have use this service for over five years now.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
