Neighborhood and Location

The apartment sits in a sought-after, historic neighborhood. The Sagrada Familia cathedral, Barcelona's defining monument, is literally a few streets away. Example Dreta district is famed for its buildings with grand, balconied façades and it's full of shops, bars and restaurants.

In just a short stroll through these beautiful streets you will arrive right at the centre, the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, Plaza Catalunya and all of Barcelona's popular attractions.

Nearby metro station: Tetuan (L2, purple line), Monumental (L2, purple line), Girona (L4, yellow line).

Living Area

In the bright and spacious open lounge there is 1 sleeper sofa, a giant floor lamp, a modern cabinet, an audio-visual station and lots of light from its huge sunny windows. A dining suite consists of a table and seating for 5.

Bed and Bathroom

The master bedroom has 1 designer queen size bed, night-tables, lamps and closet space. A second bedroom has 2 single beds, a chest of drawers and lots of natural light. In the lounge, the sofa is converted into 1 double bed.

The complete bathroom has a bath, shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Kitchen

Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware, the cool kitchen is also equipped with: Refrigerator, freezer, microwave, hob stove and oven, toaster, blender, juicer, kettle and coffee machine. The bar counter with barstools overlooks the street and is an extra space to dine and socialize.

This apartment also includes:

Hot/cold air conditioning, hairdryer, washing machine, ironing equipment TV/DVD/CD, double glazing, modern security system with interphone, bed linens and towels are provided, babycot and baby chair available.

Why Jose Antonio Rodriguez chose Barcelona

I bought this apartment in 1997, and it was my own home during 8 years. Because family was increasing i need to change to another apartment bigger, but in the same area that was the area that i like to live. I filled a bit nostalgic to leave the appartment as a my own home. Since them i have been renting the apartment for tourist and professional reasons. As the experience has been so good for clients and for me. Later i decided to buy four additonal appartments in the same building and for the same reasons.

Right now i own and manage 5 properties in this building.

Comfy, clean and bright!

Had a nice 5 night stay here. Jose was fantastic, even meeting us much earlier than our time stated and walked us through everything, giving us great tips on transportation, things to see as well as restaurants and grocery stores close by.

Both of the beds were extremely comfy, something that's hard to come by in Europe!

Everything that was needed was there, except for paper towels/napkins.

Jose even arranged for a taxi to pick us up for the airport at 2 in the morning on our departure day! We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful rental

This apartment is exactly as described and pictured. It is bright and fully equipped for all a traveler's needs. Comfortable and very clean. WiFi is fast and reliable. Quiet. Located in a real local neighborhood away from the tourist hordes - yet well connected for either on-foot or public transportation anywhere in the city. The owner, Jose, is honest and forthright. He met us both coming and going on time. His integrity never flagged. Highly recommended.

Very neat and clean

We enjoyed being close to the city center and the walk was only 15 minutes. Jose met us at the entrance to the apartment and hailed a cab for us at departure. Jose was a very gracious introduction to Barselona We had difficulty running the washing machine but I would stay here again.

Great location in Barcelona!

Highly recommend this flat in Barcelona. Antonio kept in communication with us prior to arrival and then met us at the apartment and provided us with all the information regarding the flat and the city of Barcelona. His restaurant suggestions were spot on. All major attractions can be accessed by walking (if you ar a walker), otherwise the metro was very nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The apartment was clean and well equipped. I would definitely return! Thanks Antonio!

Reg said.......Jose's apartment was perfect for us in Barcelona. It was close to the metro, Sagrada Familia (awesome day and night), and Las Ramblas. We originally planned on renting in the Gothic quarter but actually preferred the ability to have a quiet evening (and SLEEP) that the Eixample provides. The great beaches are a short metro ride away, as is the rest of Barcelona..........
