Select from a wide variety of reading material or bring your own, and make yourself at home in the comfort of the great room. Or stroll out to its large adjoining deck and enjoy pleasant mountain breezes while overlooking a breathtaking mountain scape.
Outfitted with a state of the art Viking gas range and KitchenAid convection and microwave ovens, the kitchen is a gourmet's delight. Enjoy casual meals in the breakfast room or on the large screened porch with its dining area for 10.
The focal point of the separate and gracious dining room is a custom designed table and period Windsor chairs that will accommodate up to 10 guests. Distinctive horn sconces and an antique sideboard provide atmosphere as well as functionality.
On the main living level the restful and airy master bedroom (queen bed) opens to a spacious sundeck with chaises longes and an umbrella. The master bathroom has double sinks, a separate shower and a whirlpool tub to luxuriate in. Two more beautifully appointed bedrooms are on the upper level, one with a queen size bed and the other with twin beds. Both bedrooms have private baths with double sinks and tub/shower.

About the owner: We have been enjoying the mountains and especially the town of Highlands for many years. We planned and built our dream home in afer a great deal of thought and research. Our goal was to have a comfortable, warm and inviting home that could be enjoyed by our loving family and our wonderfully fun friends. It is exactly what we had envisioned, and we feel fortunate to be able to share it with others.
Why the Owner Chose Highlands, NC, USA:
It is close to Atlanta, our primary home, and the temperature is typically 10 degrees cooler. Highlands is known for its excellent restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities.
