This deluxe cottage overlooks the east entrance to Glacier National Park's famed Going-to-the-Sun Road at the St. Mary entrance. Expansive views of St. Mary Lake and the towering peaks of Glacier Park await you from the deck and living room of the cottage, while the comforts of home are at your fingertips. St. Mary Montana is located on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation on the boundary of Glacier National Park. This little town offers a few restaurants and some shopping, but the setting is rural.
We have an arrangement with the KOA Campground Resort just one mile away so you can use their brand new heated pool and hot tub during your stay. It's nice! It is available June 1 to September 10.
You can find more information on Glacier National Park at their website. Also check out their webcam at the St. Mary entrance. This is the same view you will have from your cottage deck!
Owned by the Black Family who first owned and operated the historic St. Mary Lodge and Resort. While the Resort sold in 2007, the Black Family kept this cottage that sits up on the hill above St. Mary.
Barbie Austin purchased this cottage in 2000
We love Glacier Park!
The benefits are boundless, but solitude tops the list. Glacier Park is a true wilderness park and the hiking is amazing. Also, there is great fishing nearby at Duck Lake and white water rafting is a quick 2 hour drive.
This house was everything and more than we could have asked for. The location was perfect. We were close to all of the best sights/hikes in the park. Easy drive to Logans Pass and Many Glacier area. The sunsets from the deck were amazing and being able to use the pool and hot tub at St. Mary's KOA was an added bonus. We spent a couple of days in West Glacier, and the drive to Logan's Pass was an hour with traffic/construction. From this house, it took us 15 minutes. We stayed here for 4 nights and after the first day here, we wished we would have booked it for the entire week. This place is worth the price because of the amenities, location and view. We will definitely book this place for our next trip to Glacier!!!!!!
This is a wonderful little house. Nice size, very comfortable rooms, tremendous view off of deck, and daily maid service, which was fantastic and unexpected. The only problem we found was we would have liked to see the kitchen stocked a little better. There were no sheet pans, a very poor skillet, and it made making breakfasts there a challenge. But overall a fantastic place.
