My wife Katie and I have been coming to the Vail Valley as often as possible since we got married in the Beaver Creek chapel over 21 years ago. Our two children John Philip (11) and Maria (14) have grown up skiing with their friends in Vail and have many wonderful winter memories here. We love our location in Eagle-Vail and would be happy to give you pointers about what to see and do while you are staying at our home - give us a call!
Owner purchased this Townhome in 1995
Why Owner chose Eagle-Vail
Our family has owned this duplex for almost 25 years and though we have owned other homes in the Vail Valley, we love our Eagle-Vail duplex the best. One of the main reasons our family has continued to enjoy our home in Eagle-Vail for all these years is all the wonderful amenities in our community and our location in between Beaver Creek and Vail. Being only 5 minutes to Beaver Creek and less than 10 minutes to Vail, makes it easy to wait for the morning snow report before deciding which mountain to ski that day. Our duplex is also on the bus route to Vail, Beaver Creek or Avon and the bus stop is only a 5 minute walk away.
What makes this Townhome unique
Eagle-Vail includes one of the best golf courses in the valley with several holes laid out along the banks of the Eagle River. There is also a par-3 course, clubhouse with a fine-dining restaurant and an outstanding practice range. In addition to golf, summer amenities include a community pool, several tennis courts, many pocket parks and children’s playgrounds as well as a new trail that is being built along the south side of the community that will connect to the fantastic hiking and mountain biking trails that already exist between Eagle-Vail and Beaver Creek. These trails meander through lush aspen forests and along rushing streams with incredible vegetation that you would only expect to find in a rain forest. One can hike or bike all the way to Beaver Creek on these trails and they are truly some of the nicest trails in the entire valley. If you love to fly fish or kayak, it is an easy 5 minute walk from our home to the Eagle River. There are also excellent bike paths that extend from our property all the way to Vail or Beaver Creek. Winter activities include cross country skiing on well maintained trails on the golf course, sledding for the kids on the steep golf cart path coming down from the clubhouse, and snowshoe treks into the snow covered forests.

Springbreak from Ohio
We had a great ski vacation and really enjoyed the condo. The only draw back was the hot tub was not working. The owners were not aware of this, and thus treated us fairly with a refund, but it was still disappointing. A few of the kitchen chairs needed a little repair, (screws coming out), but other than this, it was a great place that fit our group of 10 perfectly. We loved the place and will come back assuming hot tub is functional again.
I am so sorry that the hot tub was not working during your stay. As you know, the control panel went bad between the last departure and your arrival. The part took a week to receive. They installed the part on Tues and the next guests tell us it is working fine now. I am sorry you were disappointed! I'm happy that you enjoyed the unit otherwise. I will get those chairs fixed - thank you!
Great large house
Fantastic house with a ton of beds and a garage to keep the snow off your car.
It was perfect for what we wanted affordable place, in a great location.
The unit was much roomier than I was expecting. The amenities were great and as listed. The location was perfect for hitting Vail, Beaver Creek, and dining in the evening.
Katie always communicated in a timely manner. Her home was immaculate and one of the best stocked kitchens I've ever seen in a vrbo rental. The grand kids were able to play in the snow and go sledding on the golf course, right outside the back door. (sledding is a bit of a trek) The location between Vail and Beavercreek was perfect for us. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working the week we stayed, however, once I reported it there was someone there the same day to check it out. WiFi was slow and sometimes unable to connect...better connection near the 2 upstairs master bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again!
Thank you Susan, for your review! Happy you had a wonderful stay with your family! We would love to host you again anytime!! Sorry about the hot tub - the relay went bad during your stay, unfortunately, and it took a few days to get the part. We are looking into upgrading that to a newer model so that we don't have to order parts. The spa company would have them in the shop and could install them same-day. We are also installing a booster in that unit as the router is in the other side of the duplex and lately as more and more people use the internet, the router is being overloaded. We are told a booster will solve that problem. Thank you for all your feed-back and again, we thoroughly enjoyed hosting your group and hope you will stay with us again!! Katie
Great for our large family!
Lovely home. Conveniently located between Beaver Creek and Vail. My family of 10 stayed here over the holidays. Plenty of space for people to spread out or come together. Owner was very pleasant to work with. Would definitely stay again.
The unit was nice and location is close to vail, avon, and beaver creek. You will need to drive to all of them but they are close. The condo was clean and lots of room for the children to play and watch tv. The fireplace is nice to burn wood on cold mornings while dinking coffee. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen and we even used the BBQ grill. The unit is nice and we would love to stay there again!!! The owner and mgt company were both very responsive to our questions and concerns. The hot tub was broken while we were there but the owner said the part was on order to fix it. The unit is nice, wear and tear is about average but will need update in the next couple of years. Thank you for letting us stay at your house!!
