This unit offers:: Air conditioning, two flat screen cable TVs, WiFi, two king beds with option for single beds in 2nd bedroom, Sleep Innovations mattresses, two en-suite bathrooms, generously equipped kitchen, kitchen island seats four, large private lanai with two bar height tables and four chairs to dine or watch the whales in season. Contemporary classic high quality furnishings will keep you in comfort. Front master bedroom is open to the living room. Two couples traveling together can establish privacy by locking the two doors leading to the connecting hallway. The 2nd bedroom has full bath, partial ocean and west Maui mountain views, mini-fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TV,& desk. Your Maui experience begins here in complete relaxation or selecting from multiple activities at your doorstep. Dine in or out at the on-site restaurant, enjoy another restaurant a few steps away, see the on site deli for variety of items. This unit is located four units from ocean's edge and has ease of access to all amenities only one floor below to main level and a new Fitness Center and Business Center on lower level, the glass surround Pool with deck, tables, lounges, and large lawn area that meets the sand. Take long beach walks that continue to scenic pathways and to nearby access to a marina for your ocean excursions. .

Activity desk is available on terrace level. Stop by The Surf Shop for beach and sports equipment rentals. It's a short drive to many exciting destinations such as golf, tennis, luaus, island tours, and resorts that offer art galleries, high quality shops, and restaurants.

Peak Season: Dec 16 through April 15

Value Season: April 16 through Dec 15 - During this time, if you do not need a second bedroom, you have the option to reserve the front main area which includes king bed, full bath living, kitchen, and the ocean view balcony. . We do not rent the second bedroom as a hotel room.

This condo is comfortable accommodation for four occupants plus one additional on cot or child in crib or inflatable. No sofa sleeper. If you need a crib or other child/baby equipment, we will direct you to a reputable provider.

BEACH TOWELS: Unit inventory includes all linens and towels, hair dryer, iron and board, safe, starter coffee, paper products, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, cleansing products. If you forget something, the on site convenience store may have it. Many nearby stores.

LAUNDRY: 2 large capacity washers and 2 dryers are available on each floor. Tokens for machines are $3.00 - available at front desk.

REGISTRATION WITH FRONT DESK is required for security purposes, parking permits, tokens for laundry, key codes for terrace level restrooms, reserving BBQ time. Front desk will assist with general questions.

POOL: The on-site pool has a slate deck with waterfall feature, surrounded by glass enclosure with two entry/exit gates, lounges and tables on deck and more lounges on the beachfront lawn.

THE 5 PALMS RESTAURANT: Open breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hour.

ACTIVITIES DESK: on terrace level to assist with planning and reservations. Ask about snorkeling excursions, sailing, whale watching, diving, deep sea fishing, golf, tennis, Luaus, zip-lining, current local events, and more.

THE SURF SHACK: On site rental services for beach, water and sports equipment. Inventory includes chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, surf, wave boards, bicycles, snorkel gear. They will help you get started with paddle boarding.

ZACKS DELI and Convenience Store: located on terrace level offers snacks, sandwiches, wraps, salads, lunch/dinner ala carte foods, water, ice, coffee, full assortment of drinks, cleaning supplies, toiletries, sunscreen, beach wear and accessories, gifts, and toys, etc.

BBQ AREA: located on the east lawn area. Reserve usage time at front desk.

YOGA classes by Yoga Path located on ground level, ocean side entrance: there is a charge.



NEARBY: This Kihei/Wailea area has multitudes of restaurants. Within one to five miles: golf courses, tennis, Shops at Wailea, boutiques, art galleries, world famous resorts and spas that offer services and events.



HomeAway adds their Service Fee for which they provide 24 hour customer services and certain guarantees. Please call them for details or click on Help within their website.

PAYMENT: A reservation made 60 days or less prior to arrival date is due in full. Reservations made in advance 90 days or more, may make two or three installment payments. The last payment installment is due 60 days prior to arrival date. Your entry code will be emailed 30 days prior to arrival and accessible in the Hospitality section on mobile app.

MID-CLEAN: You have the option to add a mid clean during your stay..The charge is $100.00 plus local tax of 4.166 per cent. Mid cleans include a complete clean of condo with change of towels and linens. They are usually scheduled at 10:30 a.m. and take approximately two hours to complete. If you do not wish a mid clean, you are responsible for laundering towels and sheets and surface cleaning. There are extra sheets. One mid clean required for 14 nights or more.

Guests who depart during their stay will not receive a refund.

SECURITY DEPOSIT POLICY: We wish to maintain a pristine vacation property. An inspection is conducted at depart clean. The following items are checked carefully and affect the Security Deposit refund.

1. Damage beyond normal wear and tear to unit 204 interior but not limited to: walls, floors, furnishings, appliances, electronics, air conditioners, counters, cabinets, doors, windows, screens, decor accessories, drapery, mirrors, lamps, wall hangings, prints and art, linens, towels, blankets, bed spreads, mattresses, mattress pads, blankets, comforters, and pillows.

2. Complete Inventory.

3. Items left in unit that you wish returned. Cost includes a $10.00 service fee plus the mailing costs. Receipt will be provided.

4. *Excessive Laundry:" Six (6) loads are included in depart clean fee.and four (4) loads included in mid clean fee.

5. *Excessive time needed to perform depart clean: Four hours maximum time is covered by clean fee and max 2 hours for mid clean.

6. Stains and grim that require *special treatment and *time to treat: applies to all linens, towels, pillows, pillow cases and shams, mattress and mattress pads/covers, accent pillows, bedspreads, duvets, comforters, blankets, rugs/carpet, flooring, drapery, walls, cabinets, counter tops, and appliances.

7. Time and Cost for repair of furnishings and accessories that have been damaged, scratched, dented, or broken.

8. Dry Cleaning expense incurred when *soil or *staining cannot be removed by our clean service that will first diligently work to do so.

9. Any outside professional clean and/or repair services necessary to resolve *soiling or *damages to any items mentioned in paragraph (1) above, but not restricted to; which cannot be performed by “Maui Cleaning Services.”

*Note: The terms indicated by the asterisk* mean “beyond normal wear and tear.”

These do not refer to the interval deep cleans, professional services and maintenance that are part of the regular maintenance of this condominium unit 204.

Why this property? In our opinion, the location of this condominium unit and the Mana Kai Maui Resort offers the best value encompassing the Maui experience. It combines breathtaking views, exciting activities, and the comforts of home in close proximity to on site amenities and surrounding attractions. You have a multitude of experiences at your fingertips; something for everyone. This beach is inviting for a first time ocean experience as well as for the seasoned scuba divers, snorkelers and wave riders! If you are new to the ocean, please note safety information available at the resort front desk and ask local people in the know how to enter and exit the waves.

Favorite features of this property are the swimming beach, snorkeling fun, playing in the waves, the pool, two restaurants, the convenience store, lounging on the lawn area open to the beach, sunsets, and whale watching from the lanai. This is just the beginning of all there is to do. Long beach walks leading to scenic pathways are a favorite activity. This leads to other resorts’ accesses which offer access to their shops, restaurants, galleries, spas, and events. We enjoy drifting off to sleep and waking to the sound of the waves with the unforgettable views waiting to greet us.. Do you love golf or tennis? helicopter renters

I was so excited to stay in the beautiful condo, first thing I notice is warnings everywhere. Don't get me wrong i understand the stress of renting, but the notes were everywhere. My teenage daughter got some towels dirty, their tv pivot stand malfunctioned hit the wall and scuffed the paint, a tv remote was missing which was told to me a few weeks later. The way I was emailed and accused will never make me stay in that over priced condo again. Aloha 13th trip to Maui, 8th time at ManaKai

Nice condo.Great view!

We enjoyed a very nice week in unit 204.The unit was clean,spacious and comfortable.~The only thing "negative" I will say is that the unit is directly above the 5 Palms restaurant which starts to serve at 7:30am until 11:00PM. So,there is continuous sound and smell wafting up to the unit if the sliding doors are open.However ,if you are an early riser or only use the unit to sleep,this may not be a disadvantage. I also noticed that the swimming pool was filled with screaming children quite alot.The Mana Kai as a whole is a wonderful property.

Owner's Response: We are happy to hear you had a comfortable stay. Out of the over 350 guests we have had, only two or three have mentioned cooking smells. The terrace portion of the restaurant is below the lanai covered with a sound proofing roof. The sights and sounds on property are families enjoying their stay. Often the winds and moisture in the air contributes to the amount of sound and fragrance one is able to detect. The atmosphere and season changes daily as well as the number of families with children. We hope you will stay with us again.

We've stayed at the Mana Kai for several years and this is a beautiful condo, gorgeously decorated and equipped. The management of the reservation was professional, prompt and friendly - a pleasure to deal with.

On site: The Five Palms restaurant serves all meals and happy hour. Zack's deli and convenience store supplies variety of drinks, water, ice, prepared ala carte dishes, snacks, salads, and sandwiches as well as grocery items and sundries. You have access to activity desk to reserve your adventures. Boat ramp is walking distance for access to several excursions. Another popular beach side restaurant is within walking distance. Watch whales from your lanai/balcony, during the season. Certain water activities are prohibited during 'whale season'. Enjoy beautiful beachfront lawn area to play and relax. The pool is located just to he right of lobby exit on beach side surrounded by glass enclosure. Yoga classes by Yoga Path at ocean level of the Mana Kai. (There is a charge for classes) . Rent your surf board, kayak, paddle board, snorkeling gear, or bicycle on site at the Surf Shack. They also have beach chairs and umbrellas for rent.

HomeAway Vacation Payment system adds their own service fee which we do not collect or receive. When reserving 90 days or more in advance, you may make two installment payments with full payment by sixty days prior to arrival date.
Cancellation made 60 days or more prior to arrival date incur a Cancellation fee of ten per cent of total rents plus rent tax. If and when exact dates are re-booked, an additional refund will be made minus a 30 per cent administration fee. Please see our policies described in more detail above.
REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT: $250.00 - Fully Refundable
CLEAN FEES: Two bedroom full unit Depart Clean is 177.08; One bedroom Depart Clean 156.25; T Mid Cleans are 104.17 each. Mid cleans consist of full unit clean, change of linens and towels. If you do not choose to add a mid clean you are responsible for laundering towels and sheets and surface clean as you feel is needed. One mid clean is required for a 14 night stay or more.
SECURITY DEPOSIT Refunds: Fully refundable if inspections at depart clean shows no damage beyond normal wear and tear. The Owner to Guest Vacation Property Policies Agreement and our listing page outlines details regarding items that affect your security deposit refund.
