About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

This cabin sits on close to a full city block on the very edge of town with a forested back border and lots of beautiful pines on property. Large lawn area and fire pit for outdoor activities and entertaining.

Great natural flagstone flooring in great room, new oak and tile flooring in kitchen and bath. Beautiful tongue and groove work in both these rooms also. Cabin was built with huge hand hewn cedar logs in the late 30's or early 40's. This is a one of a kind cabin built in 'old Montana' traditional style. New sectional furniture with double recliners, appliances, beds and oak dining set for your comfort. Huge moose mount, bear skin rug and other assorted hides and horns for that mountain cabin feel. New lower deck and spa coming soon. This cabin was just newly remodeled for your vacation experience.

Great Cabin, close to Glacier

  • 4 of 5

As soon as we walked into the cabin, my wife said, "This was made by a man!" The cabin definately has a rustic feel with the moose head and the fish pond and the spiral staircase. We loved the back deck off the master bedroom and the kitchen and bathroom were modernized, making the stay more comfortable. The cabin was dark and could use more lighting but not so much that we didn't enjoy it. It had a musty smell when we came in that went away once we opened up the doors and aired it out. Even with these things it was a great base to explore Glacier from. The dogs that greeted us were friendly and the neighbors were fine.

Beautiful place, convenient location

  • 5 of 5

Fabulous place! The cabin was really stocked well with pans, dishes, even coffee. It was great that it wasn't right on the highway like a lot of other places to stay. We really enjoyed the place. I would however caution anyone elderly or physically impaired at all about the stairs and tub. The tub has high sides, and it's quite a step down into it from a kind of platform. I loved it, but I can see how it could be worrisome to some. The stairs were great, but it's important to use caution on them since it's a winding staircase with uneven steps. That said, I would highly recommend this place!

Rustic cabin to add to the Montana experience

  • 4 of 5

Beds were comfortable and cabin was very well stocked with anything we would need. Literally the only thing missing was window coverings for downstairs where sofa sleeper was, hair dryer, and stopper for tub. Narrow spiral staircase to bedrooms could be difficult for some, but was fine for us. Very easy drive to Glacier National Park and Whitefish. Wish we had been here longer to cook out and enjoy the cabin.

Comfortable cabin with easy access

  • 4 of 5

This was a good place to stay, comfortable for four adults. Access was easy and convenient. It is right in Martin City (very small town) so if you are looking for an isolated cabin in the woods, this ain't it. Awesome barbecue grill. The rest of the kitchen equipment was barely adequate. Washer/dryer was a huge bonus after a week of camping. Bathroom was great. Double beds were a bit small for two adults. Communication with owner was good. Not a luxury property, but it met our needs well.

WOW! Rustic and OOH so comfy...

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is very comfortable and Greg is very easy to work with. I actually never met Greg because he had our arrival prearranged and everything was set. Talking to him over the phone was truly a pleasure. We needed to arrive a day early. No problem. Late check out. No problem. Greg is a great manager and this cabin is a true home away. We will be back next summer.
