We are able to be at our condo frequently to check on things. We take great pride in it, especially it's cleanliness. It is very much our home away from home. Your every need will be met when you stay with us. Details make the difference!

You will enjoy the Lighthouse in general. One of the newest condos in Gulf Shores it has many amenities that you will love. Twin pools outdoors make the decision very difficult each day - 'do we go to the beach or stay at the pools?'. The kids will love the zero entry pool that is just inches deep at the shallow end and a foot or two at the 'deep' end. The fountains that shoot high into the air just fascinate the little ones. Then there is the deep pool for serious swimming. There are two heated hot tubs, one at either end of the twin pools. On top of all that there is the indoor, heated pool for days that are a bit chilly or rainy. You won't miss a day of swimming no matter what the weather.

There is an indoor fitness center and spa for your health and pleasure.

There are three levels of parking for your convenience. Two are under cover to protect you from the elements. All are convenient to the four elevators on site.

From our custom draperies and cornices, to the quality of our mattresses. From our custom built bunk beds, to the quality of our furnishings. Most of our floors are tile. Only our two bedrooms have carpet. We put tile on the wall at the kitchen dining bar to avoid the ugly marks made when shoes mar the wall there. The ceilings are high and the rooms spacious. There are ceiling fans in every room. I'll give you a quick tour of our condo and hope you will like what you read and what you see in our photos.

From the minute you walk into the front door you are drawn to the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico straight in front of you. With floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors you walk there immediately to look out. When you are standing there you notice the size of the balcony. This is no little balcony. It stretches the full width of the condo and extends in front of the master bedroom as well as the living room. There is a table and chairs there for dining as the sun rises or sets. Take your pick - coffee or cocktails! Both views are spectacular! Penthouse views without the penthouse price!!

You will walk past the bunk room as you enter, and you'll notice that it has a door! This is especially nice when you get the kids to bed early. You can close the door, tell them good night and go sit on the balcony or in the living room and enjoy the evening without bothering them. They have their privacy and you have yours!

The foyer is a generous size with room for a table where you can place your keys and your purse when you come in. There is plenty of room for the rolling cart you will bring up from the lobby as you move in and out or bring in groceries and supplies.

The laundry room is just beyond the bunk room on your right. It is huge with full size washer and dryer. It offers plenty of space to store those beach toys, rafts, and other large items. There is an ironing board and iron for your convenience.

The kitchen is next on your right. In it you find granite counter tops and ALL of the things you need and want in a kitchen. We hand picked our dishes, cookware, glasses and utensils. Everything is top quality, coordinated and beautiful. There is a pantry in addition to cabinet space. The refrigerator has an ice maker. We supply many small appliances such as blender, toaster, mixer etc.

There is a dining table that seats four and three more bar stools for casual dining.

The colors should be pointed out also. The decor is beachy without being too 'cute'. The primary colors will make you smile every time you walk in - sunny yellow, bright red and royal blue.

The living area is generous, with a queen sofa bed and comfortable chairs. There are lamps for snuggling into your chair to read. There is a VCR-DVD on the flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure. Each bedroom also has a flat screen TV with DVD player.

The master bedroom is luxurious with it's king-size bed, custom bedding and matching draperies. It connects via a dressing room to the large master bath with a jacuzzi tub and seperate shower stall. The dressing room has double sinks and plenty of drawer and counter space. There is also a huge walk in closet.

The guest room also has a King bed and again custom bedding with matching draperies. The guest bath opens to the guest room and also the hallway. There is a tub/shower combination with a colorful shower curtain that again is custom made.

The Lighthouse is on the property where the old Lighthouse Motel once stood. Many of you will remember seeing this in years gone by. It's literaly a few steps away from The Sea and Suds; a traditional seafood restaurant where you wait or dine 'over the beach'. You and the kids will want to see the all-new Hangout. This is another memory from the past that has been brought back. Oh what fun!! Go north on Highway 59 you will find Lulu’s, owned by Jimmy Buffett’s sister, Lucy Buffett. Jimmy himself shows up from time to time.

We are also located just a few miles away from Supermarkets, the Wharf shopping center, movies, Wal-Mart and Target.

Awesome condo

This beautiful condo is in a perfect location with a terrific view of the ocean. It's location is very convenient to many resturants, shopping, and outdoor activities. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. It is super clean and is beautifully decorated. It's a very upscale condo. The owners spared no expense on furnishings. The kitchen is stocked with top-of-the -line pots and pans, dishes, and other gadgets such as crockpot, griddle, and more. It has a big pantry and large laundry room. The towels were big and thick. They even had beach towels you could use and beach toys!!

Randy and Donna were wonderful to rent from.They are very caring and want to make sure everything is perfect. They called on the day we arrived and then called on the day we were to leave. Donna called to apologize for any inconvenience because management came in on Friday to bring balcony furniture inside due to the Hurricane Karen alert (which was no inconvenience). She even offered to let us stay another day. They were very efficient with the process of reservations and communication. We received our damage deposit refund three days after arriving home. We have already told many people about this jewel and are planning on returning next year.

Beautifully Decorated Condo on Beach

This was our first time to the Gulf Shores area and we couldn't have been more happy with renting this beautiful condo owned by Randy & Donna. From the first communication to the last, they were absolutely wonderful. Donna gave us tips on restaurants in the area in which we loved and other things to do. Everything ran smoothly from arriving to departing. Their condo was immaculate. It had everything you would ever need and plenty of space. I especially love how it was decorated and everything color coordinated. They went beyond expectations of a vacation condo. The view was beautiful from the balcony. The condo was within walking distance of many things to do and short distance to other fun activities via car. Loved the convenience of having a parking garage to park into. Parking attendant was very courteous. Fun activities we did while there was Evening Dolphin Cruise from Caribe Marina, Parasailing, Segway Tour in Gulf Coast Park, Gulf Coast Zoo, Pirates Island Adventure Golf, Alligator Alley, and the Factory Jumping Park and ate many restaurants that were very excellent including Lambert's Café, Lulu's, Cactus Cantina Mexican Grill and Rotolos Pizzeria. We had a great family vacation thanks to Randy and Donna and look forward to going back soon.

Amazing!

The Condo was perfect for the whole family. We had the teenage sleep in the 2nd bedroom and then the 9 &6 year old slept on the pull out couch that was pretty comfy so they could here the ocean at night. The kids did love the bunk beds with the TV as well. Everything was vey clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything to make dinner. All of us really liked the beach feel with the colors and decorations. Being the 16th floor did was very nice because of the view & you could keep the windows open with hearing people from the pool & hot tub. We will be renting this condo again next year!

Wonderful and stress free

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores and this condo has a MILLION dollar view! It was very clean and had a washer/dryer in the unit, which was very convenient for us (less to pack). The indoor pool came in very handy. The owner checked in to see if we needed anything upon our arrival. I would highly recommend this condo to any of our friends or family members. This was our first family trip to Gulf Shores but definitely not our last.
