This was our 4th time back! The cabin is clean and comfortable & Sue has made some improvements to it since our last stay. Lake Edna is very clean and you can see fish swimming under the boat. However we did have an issue with not being able to get Wi - Fi in the cabin. Otherwise everything was as stated. Had a Great Time!
Great little cabin, unfortunately we ended up staying in it all weekend as the weather was so bad we weren't able to get out on the lake to fish. The TV is really small and we never found a way to connect to the internet but the cabin is close enough to Nisswa and Gull lake that we were able to get out and about. We ended up staying an extra day with just a phone call to Sue. She was very accommodating. Overall a great trip in spite of the weather.
Many way better options in the area. Obvious that owners want to sell
The description of the cottage was accurate, the cabin was cute and quite well supplied, but definitely not good for 6 people unless some are smaller children. The hide-a-bed is definitely not comfortable.
Bring soap, shampoo for the shower, as those are not provided. Also throw in extra towels and washcloths. We were glad we brought extra fans, as the weather was very warm, and there is no AC.
The cabin is in a pretty, secluded, quite area, on a small lake. We are fishermen, so took our boat to larger lakes to fish. We had a fish cleaning area at the cabin, but no place to put the fish remains except in the trash can. Although we sealed them in large freezer bags, the trash smell was awful at the end of the very warm week. Due to a death in their family, the owners were not there to guide us in alternative choices of what to do with those remains.
If you're looking for a quaint cabin setting in a quite, pretty spot, this is a place for you.
We liked the location and the lake. The cabin was fine, it had what we needed, but felt kind of like an apartment. We were disappointed that the cabin was not on the lake. We had the impression that it was on the lake, (on the shore), rather than set back behind the other cabin and garage on the property. We would have appreciated a better description of where the cabin is situate.d For the rate we paid, we would have expected to be right on the lake.
Thanks for the respite
