Had a really great time, no problems with anything. Really nice house that is remote and a great place to get away too with friends. Would recommend.

Beautiful house with amazing views!!!

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 12 who stayed for a long weekend in October and absolutely LOVED everything about this house. The views were incredible, the house was beautiful, very open yet cozy at the same time, the basement/game room was great, and we also loved having the hot tub outside under the stars. There were plenty of bedrooms and space for our group. The owner was super friendly and professional as well. We would love to stay again!!

Great home

  • 5 of 5

This is a spacious house with many amenities. We found the kitchen to be well equipped and easy to work in, even with several people cooking. The attached garage was handy to unload the cars in the cold weather. The house is clean, especially the areas that are tough to keep clean such as the kitchen, bathrooms, steam room and hot tub. It is very well insulated and has a heat recovery ventilation system that supplies fresh air to the inside so the air is always fresh. The masonry heater does an excellent job keeping the house cozy but if you don't use it the radiant heat keeps things toasty. We had six adults and four kids and the house was plenty big for all of us and could easily accommodate more. There was room for all of us to hang out together and the kids could play ping-pong, pool and video games in the basement when they got bored with the adults.

Stratton was an easy 15-20 minute drive and the house is built so that it has great views of the ski area. All interactions I had with the owner were good and he was responsive to the questions I had before our stay.I would stay here again.

Beautiful home in Vermont!

  • 5 of 5

Our weekend stay in Windhall, VT was great. Found this house a week beforehand and Russell was awesome with responding quickly. The house is beautiful and well secluded. It was very clean, maintained, and modern. Everything was well stocked and supplied in terms of appliances, bedding, pots and pans, towels, etc. There were even dog beds and a crate for our dog! You could see Stratton Mountain from the great room and the pond in the back was great for the dog. All the beds and couches were really comfortable and cozy! The steam room and hot tub were great additions to our stay, I could only imagine how relaxing they'd be in the wintertime! There was a gas grill and lots of firewood for the fire pit. The Master Bedroom had a great view and gorgeous bathroom. There is even a radio system in place for the room and bathroom and a bar downstairs along with an additional refrigerator. Lots of board games and video games if you have children for the stay as well.

The house is down a long driveway and it feels like there is nobody else around for miles! We enjoyed our privacy and was able to get to Lye Brook Falls for a hike within a 20 min. drive. There is also a Lake with a beach for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing 15 minutes from there! The house had hiking guides for Green Mountain handy. We bought all that we needed beforehand, but found that Manchester was nearby if we needed any more groceries.

Overall, could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay at for our weekend trip! We will definitely come back for our future Vermont visits. Thank you!
