Located in Bishop’s Landing (Ocean View) with/ resort-style amenities (2 pools, tennis, pickleball, gym), our large, brand-new townhouse sleeps 8. W/3 bed/2.5 bath, a fully equipped kitchen w/dining area, & screened-in patio, it has everything needed for a fun and restful vacation. Near great restaurants & entertainment, incl. the Millville Boardwalk, only about 30 30-minute drive to Rehoboth B & Ocean City, MD.

Ideally located, with on-site amenities, this townhouse will provide the perfect location for your beach vacation.

BISHOP’S LANDING COMMUNITY: Two pools, clubhouse, fitness center, playgrounds, tennis & pickleball courts, free shuttle to the beach from Memorial Day to Labor Day

Good Place

The place was HUGE and clean. Lots of space for a large family and having a washer and dryer was well appreciated. I would stay there again. Only downside was the screened in back porch needs to be cleaned up a little.

Great experience. Pools are fantastic. Check in time is too late and check out too early.

Ok stay

We had a rough start when we got there with some mishaps with whomever cleans the facility, but the space itself was very nice and within 15 mins of Bethany beach. The property manager was very quick to respond to anything we had questions on.

Great home

It appears to be a brand new home and is well-cared for, but the things it misses is the acccoutrements of an older beach home. It didn't have a lot of the basics, like trash bags and enough cookware, but it will get there. The trash situation is a bit odd too, with the nearest dumpster being quite a ways from the home. Checkout and checkin were easy but the timing was a little earlier and later, respectively, than I would have liked. All in all, great place to stay, very clean, just needs some extra amenities inside the home, which I think will come with time.

Okay stay, but could have been better

The home is in a new community and offers plenty of amenities. It is also about 15 minutes to the beach/boardwalk of Bethany. The property itself is new and quite spacious. With a total of 8 of us, we never felt cramped. However, there were a few serious issues which we could not look past and why this was not a 5 star stay. First, when we arrived it was quite clear that the property had not been cleaned (dead bugs on floor, dirty toilets, etc.). The next day the owner let us know that the cleaning crew was in an accident the day before and did not clean the house. Thankfully, the cleaning crew was okay, but they were not able to get to the property and clean it till Monday (check in was Saturday). We completely understand that emergencies happen and we are grateful that everyone was okay, but the delayed communication regarding this was disappointing. While it was great that the cleaning crew was able to get to the property on Monday, we hoped that more of an effort would have been made to get someone in sooner. The second issue we ran into is that the driveway and garage can only handle two vehicles total. This means that one car needs to park inside the garage at all times if you want both vehicles parked at the house. This wouldn't be such a big deal if a garage opener or outside access to the garage was possible, but it was not. Therefore, every time we left, in order to leave we would need the first car to leave and then the second car would need to drive out of the garage, park, close the garage from inside the house, and then exit through the entry door. If you have one vehicle this is no issue for you, but if you have more than one it made for quite the headache. Finally, every rental we've been to in the past always had a limited supply of essential things like trash bags, paper towels, hand towels, etc. To our surprise, there were none of these with the exception of a hand towel in the downstairs bathroom. Overall, our stay was okay. We probably would not stay here again due to the issues we encountered, but we do feel like this property could provide a 5 star stay if communication and effort to rectify issues were done with more urgency and access to the garage is improved.

We are taking steps to address the cleaning situation and the lack of basic such as trash bags etc. If the cleaning crew had not been in an accident, the basic amenities would be been replenished, but unfortunately that didn't happen. We have added a code to the garage door to make access easier.

A perfect beach house

Directly from Montreal , 11 h drives … we arrive home and the code for the door wasn’t working . We quickly got it touch with VRBO who helped us communicate with the owner … ouf !!! But this little bump road was all worth it !!! Nice house , enough space , everything you need and close to all the convenience. The neighborhood is wonderful . The bishop landings club with the pool was useful if we didn’t want to go to the beach. My only comment is the patio in the backyard is not big enough ( I’m only writing it down so people know ) because I’m going back to this beach house anytime. Thank you again Morten ( and to your son too )

Excellent experience

We had a very nice stay. The home is beautiful and exactly as described. Well equipped and nicely decorated. I loved the sofa and my kids enjoyed the room with bunkbeds. We really loved the community pool. The house is in an area where they are still constructing but we were never interpreted by noise or workers. It's a beautiful community and the locals are super nice. I highly recommend staying here. Morton was wonderful to work with, he communicated with us quickly when we had questions and his home is lovely. We will return in 2022?
