In ancient wine terraces you will find the Casa Levada, it is a lovely house with an open floor plan on two levels plus sleeping loft. Formerly it was the residence of the family winegrowers only upstairs. Today the former wine cellar is home to the rustic, spacious living room with an open fireplace and seating area. A French window brings in plenty of light, allowing beautiful views of the old terraced vineyards to the Atlantic Ocean. Upstairs there is a double bed under a window from which you can see into the sea in the winter sun. An originally designed bathroom with a maritime flair and an additional sitting area with a small sofa bed provide a cozy atmosphere. About a ladder to reach a sleeping loft with a small window. Here you can sleep on a double mattress kids or friends.
Directly on the house is a secluded patio under ancient vines. Here you can enjoy a Madeira wine with local honey cake or a home-cooked, grilled tuna steak.
