Perfect Vacation Spot

Isle of Palms is my favorite vacation spot and this house is the perfect way to enjoy it! The house is spacious and has more than enough room for a family gathering or a big group of friends catching up! The beach is just a short walk away and it's convenient to shopping on the island! The hot tub was very relaxing at night! I would definitely recommend renting this house! You can't beat the amount of space you get for the price!

Spacious and comfortable house, easy access to beach

This house worked well for a large group of guys on a getaway weekend: there were enough beds/couches to accommodate everyone reasonably comfortably, and it is within easy walking distance of both the store and Windjammers (a beachside bar), which made logistics much easier with the large group. Kitchen is reasonably well-supplied for cooking for a large group, as long as you don't get too fancy, and everything at the house worked smoothly. All communication with the rental company was pleasant and timely, and they were able to make a early check-in available, which was very helpful for our early-arriving members. Overall, very happy with the experience.

spacious easy living

Visited Charleston for my son's Citadel graduation and had family and extended family stay at the house. Great house for multiple groups to enjoy time together. Kitchen has all the necessities and several areas (living room, keeping room, and upstairs family room) to relax. Definitely will be staying here again!

Ideal Rental

My friends and I have been visiting the Charleston area on an annual basis and deliberately seek this Isle of Palms rental property out. We’ve stayed at a few different locations on Isle of Palms, but have found this house has the best setup for our large group, is competitively priced, and has owners that are responsive and accommodating. The beach is a short walk from the house, and a new grocery/liquor store is minutes away. I would totally recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Charleston area!

Wonderful vacation getaway

We have been staying at this property, at least twice a year over the past four years. It is a perfect location on the Isle of Palms with the easy access to the beach and a quick twenty-minute ride into downtown Charleston. The Harris Teeter right on the island is great for gathering the ingredients to make a delicious meal in the spacious kitchen. It is stocked with all the utensils, appliances needed and the gas range is fantastic. There is also a deck right off the kitchen, with a grill, giving more space to this area of the house.

The living room is large with a nice flat panel television making it a great place to unwind after a long day at the beach. If there are too many choices for programs to watch, there are two other flat panel televisions in various rooms to accommodate the viewing preferences for all guests. The back deck is big enough to hang out, in or out of the hot tub, it’s shaded and screened in so there is a feeling of seclusion.

The bedrooms are nicely appointed with fresh linens and hangers. Each one is a nice size and more than enough for vacation.

It has been and will continue to be our favorite place to stay in the area. Cheers!

It was ok.

The house was big enough for 8 guys on a golf trip and more. It was clean and there were ample supplies. Located 1.5 blocks from the beach. It was in need of updating.

Payment is not through the website but by check or cc with a 2% fee. After some research I felt comfortable with ownership.

Initially communication was good. However when I tried to make 2nd payment, it was difficult to reach the property manager.

During our stay the hot tub stopped working. I tried to contact manager but never hear back.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed the home and short walk to the beach. As we discussed over the phone, the owners use this as their personal rental and take great pride in cleanliness and making their guests comfortable. It is an older home and since they purchased it, they have done quite a bit of remodel including the updated kitchen/living room as pictured on our website. Each year is a new and fun project and our guests enjoy the charm the house offers such as original wood floors, the fact that it can sleep 19 people and its large screened in decks. As for the hot tub, we have both our pool service company contact info and our 24/7 available property manager contact info in the home. I'll have to check into who you called and if they received your message. Thank you for letting us know. Finally, I know I communicated with you quite a bit in the time preceding your stay both by phone and by email. I looked back to see that you contacted me on a Friday (regarding your second payment) and I emailed back Monday letting you know that I was on my way back into town from being away but would respond in further detail once I got back to my desk. At that point you responded saying that you were in meetings and on the road so you were not able to respond right away either. Thankfully, we were able to get you taken care of that week despite playing a little bit of phone tag. Most importantly, glad to hear you had a good time away with your friends and that the weather was nice. Thanks again for your feedback! - Reservations
