About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

This cozy third floor condo sits at the top of Big Sky's Mountain Village. A quiet back unit, it overlooks a mountain lake where visitors frequently spot moose and black bear from the unit's over-sized window. Occasionally the Big Horn Sheep come up from the hillside into the area, too. Otherwise, look for them on the Lone Peak Trail, on the way up the hill to the units.

Only a 10 minute walk to Big Sky Resort's ski lifts, restaurants, shopping and the Huntley Lodge which offers a fitness center, day spa, outdoor pool and hot tub and Wi-Fi throughout.

The condo has been recently remodeled with beautiful slate floors and shower, a state-of-the-art kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, stove, coffeemaker, toaster and a full set of cooking utensils, pots, pans and dishes.

The condo has a separated bedroom area with a queen-sized bed and a trundle bed, making it perfect for a family of 4. Find a TV and DVD player in the living room with a wide variety of movies and books for the whole family.

A free shuttle runs from the condo's parking lot to the lifts approximately every 30 minutes. Big Sky has a wide variety of year-round activities to choose from and world-class downhill and cross country skiing, hiking, boating, kayaking and biking are all just moments away.

Or, choose from golfing, fishing, horseback riding. Don't forget that Big Sky is also perfectly located between Bozeman and Yellowstone Park.

About Danielle Kraus

Our family of four uses our cozy condo as a getaway from town. Friday nights up there, we make popcorn and watch movies and spend our days on the ski hill in the winter or biking, hiking, golfing or on the beautiful Gallatin river: rafting, fishing, or just picnicking on the banks.

Because we are up there so much, the unit has all the amenities of home, including a blender, good pans and baking dishes, a cuisinart and lots of books and games.

We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes this condo unique

Our unit is really a second home for us so it has all the amenities we want when we are there. That makes it feel more like a home than a rental. That is what we love about going there, and we think you will too.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We just returned from Big Sky. The condo was perfect, I love the tile in the kitchen and bath, I felt like I was in a fancy hotel in the shower. We did not rent a car and just used the shuttles and the trail to get around and it was fine, in fact I was glad that we did not have to drive on snowy windy mountain roads. Thanks for the rental!

This is a very clean and comfortable condo. Skyline free bus gets you to base of mountain or down below to

City Center/Meadow. The bus is only a couple of minutes walk from unit or you can take path to base of mountain - an easy walk. The kitchen is so well equipped with plenty of counter space, pans, pots & knives so it's easy to fix meals if you wish. Whether it's the shower or kitchen sink hot water is literally seconds away. The unit is located on 3rd floor so it's quiet and the sunrises are spectacular. Finally Danielle is so helpful and cooperative to work with. Returning guests - Ben & Shirley

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

This condo is in a great location and a few hundred yards away from a bus stop where you can hop on and head into the Big Sky Village which makes the location perfect. The condo itself is in great shape, and is very cozy and well kept, it's also on the 3rd floor so you don't have to worry about loud people above you which is great. Danielle was very easy to work with and communicated everything very clearly through the process. I would definitely recommend this location and stay here again.

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

My family of four had a great 4-night stay in this condo! It was clean, comfortable, warm, and affordable. We especially enjoyed having the washer/dryer, full kitchen, DVDs and cable TV. Everything was just as Danielle described in the advertisement. Danielle was also easy to communicate with and provided excellent directions. Thank you!

Perfect Summer Stay

  • 5 of 5

This condo is perfectly outfitted for a couple or small family. Easy access to everything Big Sky has to offer in the summer. Clean and recently remodeled, it was a great fit for us. And the price was less than anything else we looked at. We'll be back next year!

Two Weeks at Big Sky skiing

  • 5 of 5

We spent 14 nights at this well equipped and comfortable condo - skiing 12 days. Easy walk to Mountain Village or catch bus - we did both. Great kitchen for cooking with lots of pots, pans, serving pieces, cooking utensils + knives(6 sizes and sharp). Lighting in kitchen and eating area very good with recessed ceiling lights plus undercabinet lights plus 2 night lights. Very friendly condo residents covering all age groups. The washer and dryer in unit were handy to wash a few turtlenecks as we left for 6 days at Red Lodge. We hope to come back next year - we are both retired now. Danielle was very helpful in making our extended vacation so easy and so much fun.
