About Bob and Teresa Miller

Bob and Teresa Miller: We fell in love with the Crystal Springs cabin when we saw it; it was perfect; we ended up buying it in June 2008. We enjoy walking, hiking, riding our bikes, and visiting the local hang-outs. The people here are friendly and outgoing. We greatly enjoy our time here; we plan to move up here full-time in a few years, however, in the meantime, we offer our home to you as a rental. We hope you will love it as much as we do.

Bob and Teresa Miller purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Bob and Teresa Miller chose Pinetop-Lakeside

We chose to buy a summer home in Pinetop because of the cool and quiet summers within an easy drive for us from Phoenix. We can go from 100+ degrees in the valley to 70-80 degrees in Pinetop within a few hours! The summers are mild and the winters are snow-packed with fun. We have a group of friends also retired and live here; we wanted to be near so we could get together often.

What makes this cabin unique

We love to come up for the Car Show in September; the country club is close by for a game of golf or brunch on Sunday mornings. For a quick road trip in the afternoon, we like to drive to Greer, AZ for a picnic by the creek. Our granddaughter likes the trail rides offered just a mile down the road.

During there ski season, Sunrise Ski Resort is just a quick 25 mile drive.

Escape to Pinetop

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. Well equipped - nothing that we could think of that we needed - they owner supplied soap, laundry soap, nice towels, all the kitchen tools/utensils you could ever need, etc. We had a small problem with the fireplace, but emails to owners and a quick visit by a local company (Very nice/professional) fixed that. Will certainly consider for a return visit.

Cozy and Roomy

  • 5 of 5

My husband, me and our 6 adult kids/friends spent Father's Day weekend at the Miller's Hideaway. The cabin is immaculately clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking. Plenty of space for everyone in comfortable beds. Easily sleeps 10. Plenty of parking. Good value for the price. Highly recommend the Miller's Hideaway.

All the comforts of home

  • 5 of 5

Bob and Teresa's cabin is exactly as they describe it. Very clean, comfortable and modern with everything you need for anywhere from a one night to a one month stay. The area is very quiet and peaceful, but just a short distance away are wonderful restaurants, antique shops, movies, hiking trails, and all the lakes and streams any fisherman could want. The weather was beautiful with temps 20 to 30 degree's lower than the Phoenix area where we live. The neighbors you meet on your walks around the neighborhood are very friendly and loaded with information on things to do in the area. We had a wonderful months stay and plan on going back soon.

We went skiing the entire weekend and it was a perfect distance. The owners were so easy to work with. I highly recommend this cabin and hope to rent it again for our trip next year!

Awesome Accommodations - Best Kept Secret!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of three and our dog have rented this cabin from Bob & Teresa twice now, and plan to return again in the future. Their cabin is clean, roomy and well cared for and stocked with everything you will need. The two bedrooms downstairs are large, and the large loft is the perfect place for our son to claim as his own. A big plus is the cabin sits back off the road in a cul-de-sac and has wooded lots next to it that have yet to be built on. Lot of room and privacy. We sat on the deck daily and fed the squirrels and blue jays, walked to the forrest for a hike, and rode our bikes around the community or into the forrest. The golf course is walking distance to hit a few balls after the course has closed (it's private). The sled hill on the course is right there as well. The public golf course is a short five minute drive. This is the perfect base for exploring the White Mountains. Day trips to Hannigan's Meadow, Alchesay Fish Hatchery, Sunrise, Greer or into town to browse the fun shops are convenient. We love exploring the mountain lakes and hiking the wilderness trails. Bob and Teresa are wonderful to deal with and are very kind. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us...we treat it as our own.
