Great Family Vacation Venu

  • 5 of 5

This is such a fantastic home and property for a big family vacation. We have spent two week long vacations here this year and last. I highly recommend it. The Russos are very easy to work with and will help with any situation. There are 17 of us and room for everybody. We do have several teen age girls so bathroom time was an issue. The kitchen is big and fully equipped. This place is not the Taj Mahal but has 7 bedrooms, 3 baths, two kitchens, two living spaces, washer and dryer, parking for lots of cars, a wrap around deck, fire pit, big outdoor space for volley ball or games, a big private dock for swimming, fishing etc (the kids spent hours there). Pirates Point is very close and you can rent any kind of water vehicle there. There is a steep hill down to the dock. Bring bath and swim towels. You can walk it - great exercise or drive down. We've seen deer, raccoons and armadillos on the property. You'll have a great time!

Had a great second visit

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay here and we all enjoyed our time very much. There is a large parking area. The yard is big enough for everyone to enjoy all the outdoor activities they want. The weather was extremely hot but the AC did an excellent job keeping the house cool. My wife was well pleased with all the cooking facilities. The two charcoal grills provided more than enough cooking area to prepare even the huge meals we enjoyed. Even though the temps were very high (100+) the cat fish really were biting. We are looking forward to returning next season.

Tons of living space and very private

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend in this house! The layout is perfect for large groups--two full kitchens, two living rooms, a front deck and back deck and a private dock to swim and fish. We could all be together but also split up when needed. There were 7 bedrooms and two pull out couches so plenty of sleeping space. We were a large noisy group so it was nice to have a big yard and not have to worry about being close to neighbors. We would definitely stay here again, The owner was really nice even after we accidentally broke one of the closet doors! The only

Downside was there was no wi fi but we were busy swimming and boating so didn't miss it too much. Definitely bring your own towels, spices, and maybe a few extra blankets and pillows if you're going to use the pull out beds.

Spacious and quiet

  • 5 of 5

This place is wonderful for large groups. We just returned from our family vacation with 23 people (ages 2-80) and absolutely loved it. There is plenty of space indoors and on the deck for everyone. There is a short walk to the water and there's not a great view of the lake, but it was nice to relax and not be worried about kiddos falling in the water. There is a huge dock that we parked our boat at and went swimming every day. It's a great place to swim since it's so far back in a cove. I would suggest bringing a larger grill from home if you want to grill out for a large crew. That being said, the two kitchens made meals so much easier and gave us more space to store stuff. There is plenty of parking- we had 9 vehicles. It is also close to plenty of stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. The owners are wonderful to work with! We will definitely be back again next year.

great time had by all

  • 5 of 5

This is a great place for a large group. We played volleyball and wiffle ball and had plenty of room to enjoy our selves outside. After the 4th day we finally found the pots and pans, which is cool because we brought our own for the trip. The gentlemen that takes care of the place was really nice. We will be considering coming back and this time maybe staying two weeks instead of one. We did have a small dog and she loved the grass to go potty. I would recommend this property for your vacation, but do bring extra towels. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your house had a great time.

Family Reunion 2015

  • 5 of 5

Some of our extended family enjoyed this getaway for 4 days / 3 nights. The home worked out very well for our group of 20+. We were a combo of youngins and adults, and everyone had plenty of space to play, fish, boat, eat, rest, relax, and recreate! Thank you so much for the use of this lovely home! We would plan to use it all over again!
