The house is beautiful, comfortable, if a bit small, the location exquisite. We were close enough to town for necessities, but far enough away for privacy & the relaxation we sought on a mini-vacation. The owner had thought of everything to make our stay pleasurable. We'd return!
Our stay at the Babble-On Creekside was extremely relaxing. We spent most of our time at the house (we are from not too far away and have seen a lot of the attractions in the area). So didn't feel a need to explore the area. Just sitting and de-stressing in the living room and taking in the beautiful view of the outside creek and forest through the windows and sky lights . We enjoyed the hot tub and cooked meals in a nicely remodeled kitchen. The entire home is newly remodeled. Only down sides: Rooms are a bit small, couch not as comfortable as one would expect, and frying pan needs to be replaced. We enjoyed a wonderful 3 day weekend and came home very relaxed. We would definitely come back to stay and bring family and friends with us.
What an amazing adventure! Both my partner and the other couple who shared the home with us were very impressed with the location. Lots of little treats around the house kept popping up at us like the hidden face and the lovely angel. Nothing beat sipping a cup of coffee on the two perfectly positioned chairs over looking the creek or relaxing in the luxurious hot tub that easily accommodated the four of us. We also befriended a helpful Cabin Cat (who we dubbed Captain Cabin Cat) who greeted us twice daily, in the morning and at dusk, to see if we could spare any treats. We got to be such good friends that he (or she) would hang out on a nearby chair and enjoy the sunshine with us.
Close to Johnson's Beach (on the Russian River), Goat Rock Beach (on the ocean) and Armstrong Woods, this home away from home was exactly what we needed to regenerate and relax on our vacation.
Thank you for sharing your little slice of Babble-On with us!

Beautiful location with an adorable little home under the trees. Loved the hot tub, porch, washer/dryer, huge kitchen, GIANT shower and fast internet. Bring a sharp knife with you if you plan on doing any cooking, the ones here are quite dull. The oven is great, beds are comfy and there is even a neighborhood cat that came to say hello! She's super friendly and loves a good ear-rub :] We had a fabulous time. Thank you so much.
It was a very easy experience dealing with Russian River Getaways. The house is not far from town. It feels as though you are miles away and have a private place. Really, though, it's a crowded neighborhood and narrow, steep streets. The hot tub is relaxing, the redwoods are amazing and the creek is lovely to look at. Though we did not receive phone service on our cell phones (apparently AT&T is not strongly supported), the house has a land line and wifi. You can watch TV or movies or listen to music. The kitchen has what you need to make yourself at home. With so much to do in the Russian River area, this is a great spot to stay.
Absolutely amazing! Being surrounded by this beautiful forest and sleeping to the sounds of the babbling creek had such a peaceful and relaxing experience. I also loved the kitchen and the landscaping. I don't want to leave! Spent time going for runs and loved the hills for extra sprints - Armstrong park makes for excellent hiking and only approx. 4 miles away and kayaking locations available along the Russian river everywhere. Great place for sports and then a wonderful place to come back and relax in.
We enjoyed Christmas 2015 here and what a beautiful setting. Peaceful, calm, with all the amenities needed for a family to enjoy. The location is close to excellent wineries, beach(30 minute drive) and fun small towns to explore. We would highly recommend staying here no matter what time of year it is.
