Perfect Crestone Rental for two people. Great views, private, hot tub and super host!
Will return! Al such a great host - gave us tips on what to see in the area. Although the cabin was rented also, with the way the windows of the carriage house are situated you don't even know anyone is over there. Super private. Very tucked away in the beautiful pinon juniper forest. King sized bed very comfortable.
Coffee lovers there is a coffee grinder, a single use french press, a traditional stove-top Italian espresso maker AND a very high quality Cuisinart auto brew.
Thank you Al for your contribution to a great getaway.
My husband and I stayed in the cabin for two nights so we could visit the area. It is a nicely designed cabin with all you will need and a lovely view of the mountains and sky. Our host was really accommodating and introduced us to parts of the area that we would never have discovered on our own. Thanks Al!
This was the best experience I've had with a rental. There were 10 of us staying in the cabin. Al and Dechen went above and beyond making us feel welcome and helping us with ANYTHING we needed. Highly suggest staying here.
Had a great Dad's and Daughter's weekend in Crestone. The cabin is perfect and in a spectacular setting surrounded by majestic mountains and fragrant pinon pines!
Very comfortable with beautiful views...
I've stayed in Crestone on several occasions and this carriage house has been my favorite rental. It was clean and well furnished upon arrival. The king bed was super-comfy and the room was very quiet, which was great. After traveling on an exhaustive road trip the week prior, I was ready to have some R&R and this was the perfect place. There were people staying in the main house and I never heard them going or coming. Looking out the large windows of the main room, all you can see are beautiful mountain views. The soaking tub was great and I spent a lot of time watching movies on my (waterproof) iPhone using the wireless system or watching the weather change across the valley floor. Seems decadent, but hey, its a vacation! Al, the manager/owner, was a great help with hiking tips and just an all-around nice person. I'd definitely go back anytime.
Great affordable place
I stayed in the carriage house and for the price, I don't know how you can do better- very comfortable king bed, fully stocked kitchen, nice bathroom with Kohler soaking tub with view. Wifi and 4G signal also come in handy. No TV service but you should be up in the mountains anyway. Al was very helpful with hiking suggestions (one of the best ever hikes) and food recommendations (there aren't that many in this tiny town. If you are a CO resident and looking for something off the beaten path, try Crestone.
It was a pleasure having such a great guest!
For clarification, we have hdtv with "over the air reception" of 13 hdtv channels in the cabin carrying the main networks, the carriage house doesn't have this.
Both the carriage house and cabin have HDTV sets that you can stream NetFlix and Amazon movies.
