This is a very bright spacious and clean loft.

It’s quite unexpected after you climb up the two flights of steep stairs which our party managed capably. (It’s not for anyone who has physical limitations.). The location is very convenient to the riverfront, restaurants and downtown attractions. It’s just a short drive to the USS North Carolina and not far from the ocean beaches. With the public deck across the street, parking is not a problem. We felt safe with our adult party of four. I’d give the loft a 5 star rating but for two issues. Some of the fixtures in the kitchen (faucet) and bathroom are dated. More importantly, the nightclub around the corner and associated traffic created a lot of noise most of the second night. It was St. Patrick’s Day so we opted not to complain. If we didn’t have early flights, the activity wouldn’t have been so bothersome. Luck of the Irish...perhaps. 🍀?🍀? Karl was very accommodating allowing us early access! All in all we were happier staying in this location than a hotel. It was very comfortable.

Fantastic location, fantastic space

  • 5 of 5

As another reviewer had said, the photos don't do the place justice; it's large and spacious and welcoming. We felt very much at home. As for location, it couldn't be better. Everything you might want to do is just down stairs including a phenomenal breakfast at the Dixie Grill next door. We were happy to note as well, that the street sounds were livable, even on Friday night. We could hear a bit of thumping from the dance club a few doors away, but it was perfectly sleepable, no problem at all. There is a bit of a hike to get up the flights of stairs, but unless you have a mobility issue, that too is not a problem. We will definitely want to stay here again.

Great location...great loft!!

Really loved this place. Park your car and you can walk to just about anything in downtown Wilmington. Loved the loft. So worth the hike up the steep staircase! Great space for two couples. Artwork and decor are really cool.

End of Summer Surf Mission...

  • 4 of 5

Great space in the middle of the action. 20 minutes from the beach and right down town surrounded by good food and good vibes. The loft is a great place to hang out. Kitchen and shower could use a little updating, however, we enjoyed the space and would definitely go back. Bedrooms are comfy, great little office for hanging out on a laptop, reading and writing. There is some street noise, but that's what we were after.

My husband and I spent a weekend staying in this charming loft. So convenient - we never had to move our car all weekend. Convenient parking deck just across the street. Steps away from restaurants, attractions, riverfront and shops. Loft was very clean and beautifully decorated. A lot of downtown nightlife so never a dull moment. We highly recommend staying here.

Our favorite restaurants were just outside our door at Fork / Cork, Diner and Shuckers Oyster Bar across the street. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Nice Stay Excellent Location

  • 4 of 5

There is no beating this location if you want to be in the thick of downtown Wilmington. Beds were comfortable and the common space is airy and homey. There are some pretty steep steps getting up to the unit so if you are unable to climb steps, you may think twice. I did not see an elevator. One downside is that the unit did not have a dishwasher, but certainly not a deal killer if you plan on eating out, which we did. We had a problem with the garbage disposal, but Karl was readily available and handled it well. A nice stay and would stay again.
